Firstly, let me explain why I purchased this support. I had a car accident which was a rear impact whilst stationery and the impact caused left-sided trochanteric bursitis. This pain is the worst as you cannot get to the pain point, and it throbs at night and impedes your walking. Added to this my pelvis separated early during 2 pregnancies, which I guess left me with some weakness in my hips.I searched for ages, to find a support device that would give me some relief and fit well. I tried the bigger brand names, which I usually use but found the designs did not provide side support which was where I felt the belt should wrap the hip. That is until I came across ALWAYS READY, a brand I had not heard of before. I was delighted as their groin support was seemingly cleverly designed to wrap the hip and adjustable both around the hip and around the upper leg.I will summarize below my pros and cons of this support device: -Positive Points------------------1. Great fit around both my hips and upper leg;2. Support belt looks great;3. This device works and seems to realign the hips, allowing the pain to settle;4. Hot/Cold gel pack is included;5. Reasonably priced;6. Well-packaged to ensure arrival in pristine condition;7. Very informative guide enclosed with extra information, like fitting instructions, washing guide, and groin exercises;8. Excellent customer service from this brand.Negative Points------------------1. Two gel packs or a double wraparound gel pack may be more helpful for this part of the body;2. Maybe 4 smaller straps on the leg could achieve a neater fit.Conclusion--------------I am chuffed to bits with this purchase, as this groin support has been well-designed and is 100% useful. I cannot express how painful bursitis is, but this device was able to relieve my pain. My hip feels stable when I have the belt in place; which is what I hoped for. Other brands have the leg support attached from the front or back; however, the side of the hip is in my opinion the right place where the support belt should sit to wrap the hip.GREAT purchase from this small brand and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them as this device has real, everyday utility for hip issues and it is interchangeable between the left and right sides of the hip.Tip:-----Do not be afraid of the category that you fit into (as in M/XXL etc.), as you need to get the correct size to achieve a great fit. Reach out to the supplier to confirm your sizing if you are unsure, as they respond promptly to confirm your size.

Started the couch to 5k and was doing well until, on run 3, I overstepped past a drain cover and pulled my groin. Ouch!Managed to finish my session but was then thinking I would have to start again after resting for recovery. I had a hamstring support from a previous injury but couldn’t find it so was looking for a replacement and came across the Always Ready Groin Support. This also came with a hot/cold relief pack so seemed a good choice.Ordered and delivered in great time to help me get back on my feet again.It is easy to fit and gives great support, relieving the strain and pain whilst still being comfortable to wear.The Velcro grip is really strong around the thigh and is in three finger type shapes, rather than one across piece allowing easy fitting and tightening to get the right support required. As long as you get the Velcro straight, there is also no rubbing when wearing. The waist belt is also good, as it stops the support riding down the leg when walking or running and has a nice hugging sensation, giving the feeling of extra support to the affected area. Manufacture looks strong and well made with good stitching all round and with the included gel pack, suitable for both hot or cold relief, provides good value for money.Wearing the support I was even able to continue my running progress after only postponing for a extra day, and it gave me secure and comfortable feel throughout my run and has enabled me to continue with my training.If you need a decent support for a groin or hamstring injury or to help you continue training with a muscle strain or weakness I highly recommend you get one of these.

I find it good, it is taking some of my pain away and gives me more movement options, but I think my problem is way worse than I thought. It is very easy to use and I love it how the gel makes it a lot better and it can be reheated/refrozen so many times.

It works great for the purpose described but if you have big muscle legs it fastens on the inside which is not easy to do needs to be longer or designed to fasten on the outside of your leg so it is easier and dose not rub your other leg

What a fantastic piece of sport equipment. I bought this because I had a persistent groin strain that I could get rid of and had an 70 mile Ultra walk pending. It arrived and it was presented in quality packaging with really well laid out clear instructions. The item itself is also really good quality and when I fitted it felt really comfortable and easy to adjust. I have used this over a three day period wearing it for between 8 and 14 hours a day and it has been fantastic. Comfortable supportive and breathable. Really helped support my muscles and help me still remain active. Great piece of kit well made.

Difficulty putting it on my right leg as it's made for the left leg. The thigh straps have to secure at the back of the leg.

It's very flexible belt. After 4 months of using the belt. My brother is happy and satisfied. This is something he needed since he has the pain and this is been helping him alot. He has to sit in the office for long time and this belt made it easy and it's comfortable to wear. It's reliefs the pain and give support on his lower back. The compression on this belt is good and it fits really good too. Thank u amazon
