While this watch may not be as high-tech as a smartwatch from Samsung or Apple, it still serves its purpose well. Hubs required a basic watch for when his ship is at sea without any technology that could be detected by enemy radar. The amazing thing about this watch is its battery life. My 11 year old son wanted a "grown up" watch, and this one is perfect. He likes that it glows in the dark, uses the stopwatch feature excessively, and really enjoys wearing it. It's bulky, but still fits on his small 11-year old wrists. We'd definitely buy it again in the future as it's really durable!

I have collected watches for years. I'm still surprised, though, when I realize that I don't have a watch in a particular color. I've seen men wear white watches, and I've always complimented them on their bold taste. I, however, never owned an all-white watch, so I decided it was high time I added one to my collection.I came across this $18 charmer on Amazon and it was pretty much what I was looking for. I've been into the old school digital watches lately, and this one fit the bill. But it also has the look of a sports/diving watch, so it has a modern edge to it. Plus I love when the digital display is backlit with the touch of a button. I don't know why that excites me, but it always has.This watch has the same basic functions that became standard for digital watches since the late '70s: timer, alarm, military time, etc. It's just in a cooler package. The face is large and easy to read, and I really like the double pronged band. It's also water resistant, which is great for my work. And let me tell you: this thing is WHITE.Here's the funny thing, though. I have not received one compliment or comment on it although it definitely stands out. It kind of makes me laugh. I think that people really don't know how to react to such bold fashion choice. They may think it's the most hideous thing they've ever seen. I don't know. The feedback has been nil, which I find amusing. It makes me want to wear it more often.The watch itself seems fairly well made and it has kept the correct time for the few months I've had it. It also seems like changing the battery won't be all that difficult, so I expect to offend people with it for many years to come. I like it, though. Sure there can be a very thin line between fashion forward and downright gaudy, and I'd like to think this watch walks that line with confidence. It's obviously not for everyone, but I have absolutely no regrets in owning and wearing it.

Die Uhr kommt in einem schwarzbeschichteten kleinen Schiebekarton, der wohl edel wirken soll, was jedoch nicht ganz gelungen ist. Sie ist darin in Schaumstoff gelagert. Die Anleitung ist ebenfalls mit dabei. Die Uhr selbst macht einen wirklich guten Eindruck, und tatsächlich würde man nicht vermuten, dass man sie für diesen vergleichsweise geringen Preis bekommt. Die Funktionen sind brauchbar und funktionieren auch alle einwandfrei. Die Zeit wird auf einem großen, gut und leicht ablesbaren Display angezeigt.In meinem Test, der etwa einen Monat dauerte, lief sie relativ genau. Im Vergleich zur Atomuhr hat sie etwa 20 Sekunden hinzugefügt, also nicht verloren, sondern sie geht minimal zu schnell. Das ist jedoch eine absolut vertretbare Abweichung, da auch deutlich teurere Uhren oft ähnlich oder sogar weniger genau sind.Das Design erinnert an viele andere Sportuhren, auch von namhaften Herstellern. Trotz ihres großen Displays wirkt sie eher sportlich als klobig. Ich persönlich mag sie, empfinde das Silikon des Armbands allerdings als etwas zu steif, sodass es bei den ersten Trageversuchen nach einiger Zeit unangenehm wurde. Das hat sich jedoch mit der Zeit gelegt.Insgesamt vergebe ich sehr zufriedene 4 Sterne.
