While these are in the same general product category as something like cheese puffs - essentially just crunchy corn snacks covered in powdered cheese - I think these are a notch or two in quality above the average cheese puff. For one, they definitely have a lot more cheese flavor, to the degree that after eating them I actually tend to find myself feeling sated rather than just mindlessly snacking until the bag is empty. Texture-wise, they're fairly airy while also being extremely crunchy, and shaped like a french fry. The cornmeal used to make them is I think more coarsely ground than is usual for this sort of product. While they advertise that they're 'baked, not fried', don't expect anything particularly healthy here - they're still plenty greasy.While these snacks are extremely pricy, I would also say that I think they're higher quality than the cheaper cheese-flavored corn snacks you find in the store. Whether they're worth that additional cost is somewhat questionable.

Admittedly, I've never heard of (or tried) Pipcorn Snacks. I ordered the cheddar-flavored fries just to try them out. Unfortunately, it took nearly two months for my box of six to arrive.However, the flavor is quite nice, albeit a tiny bit overpowering, in my opinion. The cheddar blast is very strong and reminds me very much of those cheese crisps that you can put on salads nowadays. I'll be honest...I don't love the flavor of those cheese crisps...and since these remind me of them, I couldn't shake that taste out of my mind. Aside from that, though, this is a very tasty, crunchy, and cheesy snack. The texture is very nice, too. They remind me of those greasy snack fries you used to be able to get at vending machines when we were kids.I love and appreciate that this is a small American business trying to create a healthier snack option. At 140 calories and eight grams of fat per bag, I wouldn't say they were all that much healthier. However, where Pipcorn shines is in its ingredients. They use all-natural ingredients. The ingredient list is readable, which is always a huge plus!I wish I could give this product five stars. However, I am only giving it four stars because I'm not a huge fan of the taste (but I do NOT hate it). More importantly, I think this snack is very pricey. I get that you have to pay extra for quality ingredients, but I can't imagine seeing this bag in the store and paying $6-$7 for it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This review is for the Cheddar Cheese flavor. Was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved these! I usually find a lot of cheese flavors too cheesy, and while these are definitely super cheesy flavored, it doesn't annoy me at all. These are airy and super crunchy thin fries. Honestly remind me a lot of Cheetos! Salty and very addicting. You get 6pk of generous sized bags, not bad value at all.

These have a great texture - they are like Hot Fries. I like cheese real and the cheap kind Cheeto's are coated in. These tasted almost like cheddar cheese sticks coated in more powdery cheese. Might be a personal preference but maybe half the cheese coating would work going forward. Stayed crunchy after being open a few days and good quality.

Received Truffle flavor when I ordered Cheddar as a trial (vine). Flavor is ok... somewhere between garlic butter and funky blue cheese. Nice a crunchy, but rather greasy/oily.The 2 starts off are for the following reasons: - Price -> while I received these as a trial, so didn't pay the list price -> the list price is very expensive... so won't be ordering on my dime. Currently, we are talking almost 7 bucks a bag.- Healthy--- not really -> lots of healthier claims...,but they are BS. Nutritional value is the same for the same amount of funyuns or doritos.

If you like hot fries, you will LOVE these. Great spicy, zesty flavor, and no bad ingredients. These are GREAT!!

These snacks were okay but nothing that special. They have a strong corn flavor but very little truffle or other flavor. They aren't bad but I wouldn't say they were good either. Kind of bland. There were six bags, but the price per bag was near six dollars; and the bags aren't small but they are smaller than regular chip bags.

The cheddar and truffle fries have pretty good flavor, though they aren't my favorite. I'm not as big on the hot fries cheddar fries and gave those to my daughter, who also didn't LOVE them, but they were okay. Received 6 bags as described.
