Solid, quality build and design. Great addition to the cargo area in my 2020 JLU. Tonnes of cutouts in the shelf for tying down or mounting heavier gear like power packs.

Heavy construction, all steel with powder coating. Very accurate in all dimensions. It should be understood, although never mentioned in the directions, that two people are required to install this shelf. It is possible to connect one side brace with the tray loosely, but if working alone, the tray has to be raised so the short bolts can be installed on the other side. I used a auto jack stand to do this. I recommend that the tray hardware be replaced with capscrews in 5/16th SAE hardware with larger washers than those supplied and elastic nuts for a shake proof assembly. It will prove to be of use for all manner of cargo and camping equipment with the avoidance of piling everything on top of each other without this shelf.

Great quality but upgrade the fasteners. If you’re installing it alone use a couple of jack stands with 2x4 for support, otherwise it’s an awkward two person job, for this kind of shelving regardless of brand. Nilite products have consistently proven to be reliable (for me).

I have to be honest. For the price, I really did not expect a high quality item. First impressions....the only word that came to mind was WOW! A really great, solid accessory. Looks good, has some character and will be utilized as intended. I love the netting that also comes with the rack. I personally did add some slim foam/rubber buffers between the jeep hard top and of course the connecting metal. Not only protects the hard top but also damper any potential noise or rub. Super happy with this company. I have purchased many items and have been extremely pleased! 5 stars all the way!!

The shelf is a great addition to the limited cargo space in the JKU. BUT……..in my case, the package came damaged, retaped, and upon opening the package, I found 1 bolt, 1 large flat washer, 1 small flat washer, and an Allen Wrench. 1 plastic hook from the net was broken. Nilight asked for pictures, the same ones I have posted in this review. That took place December 30. They offered to resend the shelf once I returned mine, or they could replace the bolt package, but not the cargo net hooks and offered me a $10.00 item of my choice. Surprise, but there isn’t much to choose from in that price range. So I was offered a 10% discount on a cargo bag I would have a use for, but with the discount it was $30.00 more than on Amazon. Today is February 12, and I still have not received the replacement bolt package I have been waiting for a month and a half. I have purchased numerous things from Nilight and have been happy with every item I have needed, but don’t ever expect ANY service after the sale. They don’t give it and they don’t care.

Love this, and it's really looks good! I have a 2020 Jeep JL 2 door with the rear seats folded up and it fits. Don't think it would fit with the rear seats down, but didn't try, so not sure. One thing though, You will have to drill a hole on either side of the side brackets to align the bolts with your 2 door Jeep. I kind of cheated, because I only anchored the shelf with one bolt on either side, but it is fine. (You have 2 bolts on either side). I won't be carrying anything really heavy. Mostly drones and camera equipment!
