Bright, easy to use, lots of options.
I like this frame. I take a lot of pictures both professionally and for fun, and I have several hundred of them in a folder on my computer that rotate as desktops. I just copied that folder over to a micro-SD drive, popped it into the Uhale frame, ran through the easy setup routine (it connects to wi-fi and once you do that it updates its clock, finds the weather (you designate the city) and the like. I haven't played with all of the features or gotten the app as the base unit is doing exactly what I wanted it to do. The touchscreen makes setup a breeze; I never had to look at the instructions. Now that I've got it installed in a fairly inaccessible place (it comes with a hanger and has brackets on the back to put over a screw) I may break down and install the app so I can program it without having to actually reach it. It uses the Android operating system but again you don't need any phone to set it up. I bought a digital frame years ago for my parents and every time I'd visit I'd take a new card to update it for them with new family pictures; this one allows you to do that remotely via the app - I would have loved to have this feature back then. Did I mention that the display looks great?

Affordable and no-nonsense. Works offline, and from an SD card.
We ordered this to replace an older frame that died. We are extremely happy with this frame - the resolution is more than sufficient to provide a sharp and bright image from across the room. The photo transitions are smooth-ish - the framerate on the animations is a little low, but it's not at all objectionable. The frame runs on an Android OS (or at least something modeled after it, based on the settings layout). Within minutes of turning it on, I was able to start importing > 1500 photos from a 32GB SD card - the import wasn't the fastest thing around, but it did cache the thumbnails and data so that the photos showed back up quickly if I remove & replace the card. I will say that there's a slight ambiguity - 'importing' from the SD card does NOT transfer to internal memory - the images remain on the card, and the card must remain in the frame. That said, you can remove the card & add more photos at will. I have not used the app (which allows phone-based photo sharing), but did connect the WiFi, which worked seamlessly with our Synology router's 2.4GHz network. There are a few basic transition effects, none of which were 'wow!', but for a budget frame, they're entirely sufficient. The only significant missing feature is a battery - this frame will turn off immediately if unplugged. In the end, this frame is very affordable with a clear and bright picture, and support for offline/SD-card photo display without requiring use of an app. If you don't need a battery, this is a great frame for around the home!

Simple and Easy To Use
The Uhale 10.1-inch digital photo frames Built-in 1280×800 IPS HD Touch Screen does what it was advertised to do.A 10 inch display where you can, with the help of an app that worked well with my IPhone, send pictures to its frame memory to display it in a turning slide show. The frame uses both WiFi and a touch screen to select your preferences and the ease of use is about as simple as most digital platforms or devices you are probably used to. It was easy to set up and after the app install, followed by connecting with the frame, was very easy to upload and put photos into it.The frame does come with a stand that you attach to the back to it and it is powered by a cord and its own adapter. Keep that in mind as you may have to get an extension should you want to put this somewhere around your house or office. The size of the screen is enough to give you a worthwhile photo to look at and it has many functions to program it the way you want to.

Fairly Easy For a Beginner
Having a lot of pictures on various devices, I needed to find a solution to getting them all in the same place. I decided to try a digital frame. I had no idea how to work one of these. Yes, I am that old. But I do read so I got to it. The directions were fairly easy to understand. You do need to be familiar with some computer speak, most of it I knew. I did do a couple of Google searches to be sure of a few things though. Going step by step through the instructions, I was able to get this up and running. I like the smooth transition from picture to picture. The screen has a good resolution with the pictures looking clear and the colors bright. That's as far as I've gotten with this. There are many things I can learn to do with this, but for now, it's just fine as it is. I have not set up the app; that's just way to much for me right now!

affordable digital photo frame
The Uhale 10.1-inch digital photo frames Built-in 1280×800 IPS HD Touch Screen is an affordable digital photo frame that's easy to set up and use. The display is clear and crisp. The frame comes with a long power cord, instructions, the frame, and a kickstand for the back of the frame. The instructions are straightforward with a quick start guide. There's also a list of FAQs that's helpful. You use an app to transfer photos to the frame. You can do some basic editing of the photos within the app as well as within the frame itself. You can add friends to the frame (they have to download the app), so they can upload photos as well. There are a lot of variations with the settings, which you access from the touchscreen. You can change the order of the photos, how long they show for, when to sleep the frame, how you want the frame to play videos. I like that there are so many choices for personalizing the frame. I've only uploaded a few photos so far. I'm looking forward to adding a lot more photos and even a few videos in the future.

Perfect gift for anyone
I love this frame! This is the second time I got this brand of frame. Both times very impressed. I love the colors when displaying precious photos. Very bright. The memory capacity is pretty decent. This is a great gift for anyone you know enjoys looking at photos. I got a similar one for my boyfriend for Christmas last year, put some pictures of his family from when he was younger, and he cried. :) Wonderful gift for parents, grandparents, significant other, etc. My grandkids love seeing their pictures in the slide show when they come over to visit. LOVE THIS!
