Arrived in a well branded box, This little audio switcher does exactly what it's supposed to, it’s tiny and lightweight, which means you’ll probably want to secure it in place.The switcher itself feels solid despite its size, with a sturdy metal frame and plastic panels on the top and bottom. My only complaint about the design is the glossy plastic, which scratches easily and reflects a lot of light. But overall, the construction feels reliable, and it functions well for what I need.I primarily use it to switch between my speakers for my computer and game console connected to my desktop. The sound quality remains clear and undistorted, and the switch operates smoothly without creating interference. It’s also handy that there’s a third output, which I may use for headphones in the future. However, since there’s no built-in volume control, it might be challenging if you’re using headphones with sources that have different volume levels.For the price, it’s a practical little switcher that does the job. Just be prepared to secure it down to keep it stable if you have heavy audio cables, and expect a few trade-offs given the compact design.

PresentationThe COOIDEA 3.5mm Stereo Audio Switcher arrived in a small branded cardboard box within which was the switcher, a 3.5mm to angled 3.5mm cable and a user manual.First ImpressionsThe switcher unit is tiny at just 58 x 30 x 10mm with a single switch that can utilize one of three positions selecting input or output 1, 2 or 3. There are three 3.5mm ports on the top edge and a single 3.5mm port on the bottom edge. The entire switcher appears to be made of hard plastics and is well constructed, the edges are rounded and thus there are no rough or sharp points on the device.Day To Day UseEssentially this can be used in two ways, a single media device can be plugged into what they term the common port which is the aforementioned single 3.5mm port on the bottom edge, and then you can have three different selectable devices as output using the switch and the three 3.5mm ports on the top edge. The second way to use it is to have three different media devices able to deliver sound plugged into three 3.5mm ports on the top edge (say a phone, radio and MP3 player) and a listening device plugged into the single 3.5mm port on the bottom edge, thus you could select which device to listen to using the switch.In my specific case the former applies, I use the single 3.5mm port on the bottom edge from a DAC and two or three sets of headphones which I then switch between for a sound and performance comparison of the headphones. This works very well and avoids my having to keep plugging, unplugging and re-plugging into the DAC which would not only cause a lot of wear, but is also cumbersome and time consuming.Summing UpSince there is no power or other considerations this is a simple operation but does it with no issues, it is clean and does not cause any crackles or pops when switching between headphones and as such it does exactly what I wanted and in a very small form factor which is excellent. If you have a use case for such a device, this is a reasonable price to pay for something that does the job with no fuss.

I knew this was small when I ordered it, but in real life it's tiny. It's 58mm/2.2in x 30mm/1.2in x 10mm/0.4in.Of course, this means you really need to fix it down to have easy access to the switch, because it's lightweight too. I used a hook and loop sticky pad, which solved the problem.Because it's so light it doesn't feel substantial, but it is solidly constructed, a solid frame with a plastic sheet screwed in place top and bottom. I don't like the glossy plastic finish on those panels, because glossy plastic scratches easily and can reflect too much light, but it functions perfectly, so it's fine.I use it to switch audio between two different speakers connected to a desktop computer, I have a smaller one near where I sit, so I don't wake people up when I'm up late. I use my computer to watch a lot of videos and listen to many podcasts and audiobooks whilst I'm working. This setup is more reliable than Bluetooth and gives better sound quality. I have not noticed any sound quality reduction using this little splitter. Though I'm not an audiophile, I would notice sound degradation or distortion.The switch is easy to operate and doesn't produce interference during switching with my setup. Since I'm only using two of the outputs currently, the third will come in useful for headphones.The price is ok and it works as expected. You need to fix it down, otherwise, the weight of the audio cables will pull it out of position, but the advantage is it's tiny, so it's easy to fit anywhere in your setup. The only downside, for me, is the glossy plastic.

Ordinato per rimpiazzare un NobSound (o Douk Audio, che dir si voglia...) Little Bear MC104 Pro (ASIN B07PWLGXG5) come selettore di uscita per l'audio della TV verso i due amplificatori che ho nella stanza, funziona perfettamente.L'"orsetto" fa ancora benissimo questa funzione ma è troppo facile premere accidentalmente i tasti di selezione e spesso mi è capitato di "non capire" perché non si sentisse nulla... ma con questo switch di COOIDEA non può capitare! ^__^Molto compatto e apparentemente ben costruito (non l'ho smontato), il selettore è molto pratico da utilizzare e tra i 3 ingressi/uscite non ho notato alcuna interferenza (il cosiddetto sound leakage): ottimo!Non mi piace però l'estetica: i due pannelli di plexiglass sono "COOL" da nuovi ma non quando diventeranno un nugolo di strisci...A parte questo dettaglio veniale, si tratta veramente di un ottimo prodotto!

Resumen: Mi estudio necesitaba algo simple para poder cambiar de distintos inputs de audio a un único output, y no encontré producto más sencillo, robusto y funcional que este. Lo sorprendente es lo absolutamente diminuto que es - Pero para nada compromete su calidad. En mis tests actuales no se añadió ruido, ni latencia perceptible al resultado. Muy recomendado, aunque su tamaño asuste!✅Pros:• Muy robusto, parece estar hecho de buen material.• Funciona como es debido y sin problemas.❌Contras:• Su diminuto tamaño puede asustar!
