I gave my mother-in-law the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Advanced 5-in-1 Coffee Maker for Christmas, and it was an absolute hit! She's been raving about it ever since, and I'm so happy it's made her mornings (and afternoons!) so much brighter.Here's what she (and I!) love about it:* The Ultimate Versatility:* The 5-in-1 functionality is incredible! Coffee's brewed hot, but full carafe brews slowly. On the plus side, the panel does tell you how many cups are in the pot as it brews. Carafe's warmer plate is limited to 2 hours, and you cannot re-start it. Pods and SS filter work as expected. Repositionable tank is a little tricky to change but workable. The way it brews, by ounce increments and pressure, in my opinion, this makes a better than average carafe brew. Best feature is the intuitive programming buttons. Easy operation. If you have a small space, it's also handy to have the pod pot and carafe pot integrated together, so that it can be angled to reach both brewing types. In my case, it had to fit in a nook rather than on a countertop, and finding a two in one unit for that space was a trick. I took one star for the warmer and the repositionable tank setup, since the instructions we're immediately clear or locatable on unpacking.

I really like this coffee maker. It does what it said it would do. I like the water reservoir. It is easy to move from the back to the side if you just read the instructions. I do not find it "loud." It may stop while brewing, but that is just to let the grounds settle. Not a big deal. It is fast, hot, and the coffee tastes good. The only draw back I have, and it is a tiny one, but in a bright kitchen, it is hard to read the front dashboard.All and all I love it.

We used this brand of coffee at a VRBO and had to have it. I love the slim design of the coffee maker and was able to replace a traditional drip coffee maker and Keurig with this all in one product. The brew time is a little slower, but for a great tasting cup of coffee it is absolutely worth the wait. This makes a much better tasting pot of coffee than my traditional drip coffee maker. I believe it has to do with the speed, but can't confirm. I just know it is a great cup of coffee. The K-cup section also works and is reasonable fast. You can make up to a 14 oz cup of coffee. The water canister is pre-installed on the back but we found that it was kind of a pain to refill so we were easily able to switch it to the side of the coffee maker and it is now much more accessible and easier to fill. It was a piece of cake to switch, just don't try like I did to remove any screws. Everything just un-clicks and moves appropriately. No tools necessary!I saw other all-in-one coffee makers that were double and triple the cost, but feel this is reasonably priced and a great value for your money! Time for the upgrade to an all in one and regain some of that counter space back!

This FlexBrew Advanced 5-in-1 coffee coffee maker is what I call an upgrade!It is sleek,has a smaller profile, easy to operate & the coffee tastes great. It actually slows down/stops while brewing to soak-in the coffee grounds! Something I did manually when making coffee.The style threw us right into the 22nd Century lol 😁 maybe with a remote control and a coffee reservoir 😱Another upgrade is that the Pod side pin does not collect as much coffee grounds because when I ran a clear water cycle after making coffee, there were no grounds in the mug.The only downgrade is that the drip tray no longer houses the reusable coffee filter but I now store it in the brew basket where it sits/stores perfectly well.WATER RESERVOIR CHANGE:To reposition the Reservoir base is very easy but the visual screws will throw you off guard completely. Thanks to the Amazon Hamilton customers that answered my questions. DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS! just pull up and move over. It's tight but does move, be careful not to pull apart from the water supply line. (follow the guide instructions) NO TOOL IS NEEDED.

Another flaw with this coffee maker is to change where the water reservoir goes it doesn’t just come off as in the instructions. It is screwed to the bottom of the pot and the screws do not unscrew with a Phillips head or flat head screwdriver. I CANNOT get it off! Once the 2 hours are up to keep the pot warm, you can’t turn it back on to keep the pot warm. If you make a pot of coffee and someone wants a different coffee and you make an individual cup the heating pad goes off and there’s no way to turn it back on to keep the pot warm. Coffee maker WILl NOT work if needing to be cleaned. Just quits working! Wont finish cycle or stay warm! A major flaw in this coffee pot. I’d return it but, I’ve used it too many times. Had snow storm and couldn’t get out.
