This hair paste really keeps its hold. It’s thick and you have to work it a little bit to get it melted into hair but your hair will not move.

This styling paste smells great and does what it's supposed to do. It styles my husband's hair and holds the style throughout the day. It's not great at, say, taming flyaways when I put my hair in a ponytail, but it's not made to do that so I'm not going to knock it. Just figured I'd mention it for anyone thinking they might try it for that. It's matte so it doesn't give your hair that shiny gel-like crispy look, which in my book is a plus.

Holds my thick/fine hair well, but it's a little bit stickier and tacker than I like. However, I've had more success with it by using a bit less and rubbing it into more damp hair rather than waiting until it dries a bit (i.e. right after I'm out of the shower and have done a quick "towel dry" of my hair). I still prefer my water-soluble pomade overall, but I'll save this for when I do want a stronger hold, like on days with nasty weather. I will say it smells quite nice! Also, once it's dry, you can run your fingers through your hair to get that dry/matte look, making it look like you don't have product in your hair.

This hair style paste has a nice texture that holds that is matte & is water based. The fragrance of the product is rather bold but fades away after it’s been applied to your hair so it’s not as overpowering. It’s has a muskier fragrance I love that it doesn’t give your hair that slick wet look it makes it feel and look more natural and eliminates that oily slick look. Easy to wash out and use to apply without any tools you can use with running your fingers through it and get the shape that you want.

I can only review this for shorter hair that just needs a bit of hold, but this is perfect of that use. I prefer not to use a ton of product, and my overall goal is to have it look like I'm not using anything. I don't mind the smell, and the amount of hold is just right to keep a short mens haircut down and in place for the day without looking stiff or clumped together. Zero complaints.

I am 50 years old and thanks to daily finasteride and minoxidil I still have a full head of hair. Styling it well has never been more important to me! At my age I have tried just about every mens hair product you could imagine. I have used many pastes and used to like the hold it gave me plus ability to restyle and freshen my hair throughout the day without adding more product. This arrived and I was instantly surprised by the weight of it, but it's because it's contained a thick glass jar. I like the branding of it and appreciate that it's vegan and cruelty free. The glass is obviously recyclable too. The product itself is a little bit more waxy in consistency for me, and I have to say that it doesn't really provide much hold for my hair which is disappointing. I use the recommended amount and have applied even more. There isn't that much in the jar. The smell is also a little weird for me. Initially it smells nice, fresh and not feminine but I can smell it on my hair later on and it takes a sort of sweet smell that I don't like. I say this knowing it could just be me and my hair.

Overall this is a good matte paste with a medium hold and low shine. I prefer low shine products that provide a good hold, but not so stiff that you can't run your fingers through your hair. This product is right in the ballpark for what I like, so I've been pleased with it. I'd equate it to some of the other brands I've tried, like Axe and Crew, and it's in the same realm in my opinion. Two things I don't love about it. One is that it does have a bit of a unique scent. Not good, not bad, just a bit meh. The second is that it comes in a glass jar, which makes it really difficult to throw in my gym bag or suitcase without having to worry about. I prefer something a bit more durable, personally, but recognize others may prefer this. Overall, though, I'm happy with this product.

Purchased this for my son, and he is very happy with the product. Helps him get his hair under control!

Good hold and gave my hair a bit more volume. Not too hard so applies to the hair easily and evenly but if you're looking for a strong hold maybe opt for one of their other products. This brand has never disappointed me and I'll continue to use it over the more widely available store front

My barber used this product in my hair and blow dried with a diffuser to give a great end result. Even just using on towel dried hair leaves a great finish and textured look. The product smells amazing too!

Beware when purchasing, I ordered 2 jars. 1 was completely smashed
