Lightload Camp Towels .2oz 12x12 4 Pack

Lightload towels are small, compact and have several uses in a survival situation. They can be used as originally intended, as a towel or a washcloth, or as a piece of clothing. They can be used for signalling to aerial observers, they can be used as sun protection, they can be used to carry things in when used as a sling, and they can be used for first aid. I bought several of these and threw them in various survival kits for myself, my wife, my mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. Don't expect that a full terry cloth towel will magically pop out of the tiny disc that you can keep in your pocket, that would just be silly, these are thin cloths that expand a great deal from the original disk. They are not a "full-size" towel but a cloth that works very well to dry yourself after a swim in the river before you throw your clothes back on. I recommend these to anyone that I discuss survival with and can't understand why they don't have more stars.

I'm very happy with the product. For what they are they work great for me. I've only used the small 12x12 lightload towels. It's just a thin towel but works great on wash cloth dishrag type duties. You have to use water to get the initial "pill" to expand but they are surprisingly strong and absorbent for such a thin product. Ring them out and they dry in short order. A nice item just to leave in the car or throw in a emergency kit.
