watch struggles to be removed from strap
After reading mixed review I went ahead and bought this lovely bright strap for the Adventurer as the original had broken. As other have written already the new strap came in a squashed envelope, thus impacting on the already fragile and much lighter case. The strap seems noticeably weaker than the original but I reserve to judge the strenght over the next few months. Keweni's strap is very soft, it offers a variety of colours, it is very affordable and offers a snag fit. The watch joystick isn't sitting properly within its designed space. Per se, and in my opinion, this is not a huge problem for when strapped is locked the watch is firmly in place. It definitely allows for charging the watch without having to pull it off the strap. it could well be that this is intentional. The real problem, in my case, is that I am unable to remove the watch from the strap without damaging the strap itself! This is visible in one of the photos. The silicon straps bends and the case is stuck in there. If I pull or push it harder I feel the case breaking! I guess the watch will have to stay there till I need a new case. How importat that is it all depends on how you wear the watch. I like the option of changing straps and colours so that it is definitely a problem for me, at least till I find the way to wriggle it out. One thing I really like about the strap though is that it has a slimmer look and feel. The watch glass is definitely more exposed than with the original strap as it protrudes beyond the silicon strap and there are not hard edges to protect from scratches and accidental drops. Would I recommend it? Yes, for the price, the look and the fact that I am not a huge fan of the original strap but if you are someone who likes a sturdy strap with better protection for the glass this is not going to please you.

Probably better than it looks in the photos
I was hesitant about buying this strap, but then when I saw the cost of getting an official TomTom replacement strap I decided to take a chance on this one instead. I've had it for a couple of months now and so far I am very happy with it. My first impressions of it weren't great - it looked and felt a bit cheap, and it is not exactly the same shape as the genuine TomTom strap. However, I have found it to fit the watch piece well, in that it doesn't fall out, it is sturdy, and as an added benefit, you don't have to remove the watch piece from the strap in order to charge it like you did with the official strap. At first I thought the fit of the strap to the watch wasn't that great, but actually it has made no difference to how it feels when it is on my wrist (perfectly comfortable), and it's pretty thick silicone so I don't expect to break any time soon. Where the official strap was breaking was at the joint where I would bend it to remove the watch piece, but I think the combination of this new strap being made of thick silicone, and not having to remove the watch piece for charging, mean I should get a good lifetime out of this strap - possibly much longer than the original one, and at a fraction of the price! So, I recommend this strap.

More durable than the original strap
Not sure many people would be interested in this now that TomTom don't sell GPS watches anymore. But a brief comment is merited because this cheap strap lasted me years through many runs up to and including a marathon. Both the strap and the watch has been passed on to my dad now as I wanted a GPS watch that looked more like a normal wrist watch. I really didn't expect much but despite a bit of wear it lasted years longer than the original.

Decent replacement strap
Does what it says on the tin. One star removed as its pretty hard to remove the watch from the strap if needed (e.g for charging). I can see it failing as a result of this after a while.

Lasts half as long as a genuine one but costs 1/5th as much while working just as well.
Expect it to last about 6 months (I got 8 months out of it), the notches will start coming off by then. Can get some more life out of it by using one notch looser during the day and then one notch tighter only during workouts. As comfortable as the genuine one while feeling more like a normal watch strap and has an added advantage of not needing to remove it every time you charge the watch ...you have no choice actually, if you try and remove it you'll probably destroy the strap but eh... it fits well and in 6 months you'll need to destroy/remove it to put a new one on anyway. All in all it is worth it, the genuine one only lasts twice as long as this one despite costing as much as five of these and isn't any better in terms of usability and comfort.

Worth buying instead of a genuine Tomtom strap!
Definitely worth buying instead of a genuine Tomtom strap! I'm so surprised as I ordered this watch strap with little hope, having had a couple of the Tomtom straps eventually break. I didn't have much faith that it would be any good but thought it worth a shot given it's half the price of the genuine Tomtom strap. For the price, it looks great and hasn't yet broken (I've had it about a month). However the genius thing about this strap is that you can charge the watch without removing it from the strap. This removes a lot of the pressures on the strap which eventually breaks it. The part around where the charging cable goes is bendy rather than rigid (which it is on the Tomtom strap) so you can just bend it to attach the charging cable (see the photos).
