Love this but the salt is off its head if you got high blood pressure steer clear

Fairly expensive but not available in the shops, not that I can find anywhere, so I'm glad to be able to get it online. One heaped teaspoon of the powder is enough for a full mug. A tasty way for my sister to keep her salt levels up to avoid dehydration due to recent ileostomy surgery. Would recommend.

Love the taste of this 'instant' Bovril so much better than crushing cubes. Bear in mind this is sold by weight not volume so don't be surprised to find the package is only two thirds full !

Comfort in a cup!
The only available bovril drink now available. Now that the drinking cubes are no longer available, I have to buy this to get my salty bovril fix. It’s worth it. Comfort in a cup! It tastes gorgeous.

Obwohl die Dose ungeöffnet und noch sechs Monate haltbar war verströmte das Pulver einen unangenem modrigen Geruch und der aufgebrühte Beeftea schmeckt nach Bovril mit ranzigem Beigeschmack wie er bei alter Butter oder Nüssen manchmal auftritt. Ich kenne Bovril sowohl als Paste wie auch das Pulver seit Jahren, aber selbst abgelaufene Portionsbecher mit verklumptem Granulat hatten nicht diesen unangenehmen Beigeschmack. Leider wäre die Rücksendung nach dem Brexit so teuer wie das Produkt selbst.
