Buy this over the non name brand
Definitely worth the few extra dollars. Tried saving some $ before on the non name brand version and it didn’t work as good.

Great Value for Heat Transfer Vinyl. Cuts, Weeds and Transfers Well
This review is for the Cricut Value Iron-On Vinyl (Color - White, Size - 5ft). I received a free taxable sample of this iron-on vinyl to review in my search for a good quality heat transfer vinyl. The roll of heat transfer vinyl is minimally packaged in a crinkly transparent sleeve and without a cardboard roll so as to reduce packaging costs which are then passed on to the consumer. The roll is a single sheet of heat transfer vinyl with a shiny liner that in total weighs 117 grams and measures 1’ x 5’. The overall look and feel of the value iron-on is pretty much the same as with other heat transfer vinyl in this and in other brands. As used, it was fairly easy to trim the vinyl to fit my design and cutting mat and then set the vinyl onto the cutting mat with the shiny liner side down. I like that there is already a “value iron-on” setting on my cutting machine and that the reverse-cut design was clean and easy to weed. The cut vinyl transferred easily onto my target cotton fabric after I preheated the fabric, evenly applied heat to the liner and then slowly peeled away the liner. So far, the designs have held up fairly well with no noticeable cracking, separation, or discoloration. Note that I typically machine wash these shirts inside out on warm followed by line drying. All in all, this is a good quality and cost-effective heat transfer vinyl that cuts, weeds, and transfers just as well as the standard variety. I recommend this as a good heat transfer vinyl option for the colors that it’s available in.

Bulk Name Brand HTV
The Cricut Value Iron-On in black is a reliable choice for crafters and DIY enthusiasts. As someone who enjoys creating personalized designs on fabric, I appreciate the versatility and ease of use this product offers. The generous size of 12 inches by 20 feet ensures that I have enough material for multiple projects without worrying about running out mid-design.The heat transfer vinyl adheres well to various fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends. I’ve used it on T-shirts, tote bags, and even canvas sneakers. The black color is deep and consistent, providing a professional finish to my creations. Whether I’m making custom gifts or updating my wardrobe, the Cricut Value Iron-On delivers consistent results. One of the standout features is its compatibility with most cutting machines, including the popular Cricut models. The vinyl cuts cleanly, and weeding is a breeze. I appreciate that it doesn’t fray or peel during the process, ensuring clean lines and sharp edges. The adhesive activates smoothly under the heat of an iron or heat press, bonding securely to the fabric.Durability is another key factor. After several wash cycles, the iron-on vinyl maintains its integrity. It withstands regular laundering without fading or cracking. I’ve created personalized baby onesies, and the designs held up beautifully even after repeated washes—a testament to the quality of this product. While the packaging doesn’t boast flashy marketing claims, this htv delivers where it matters most: performance. It’s not a revolutionary product, but it’s dependable and consistent. If you’re looking for a straightforward heat transfer vinyl that gets the job done without unnecessary frills, this is a solid choice. In summary, the Cricut Value Iron-On, Black (12 in x 20 ft), is a workhorse in my crafting arsenal. It’s reliable, easy to work with, and produces professional-looking results. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a beginner, this vinyl won’t disappoint.

It works!
I’ll keep this simple…It does what it’s supposed to do and it does it well. It’s a huge roll for a great price. It transfers quickly and sets just as quick. It holds up well after numerous washes, drying, and even ironing! Last, it’s relatively soft and is the exact quality we expect from Cricut. We are definitely getting more of these value rolls!

Good and easy HTV
I do not have a cricut machine but do have few other better brand cutting machines. I do a lot of vinyl cutting and mostly buy off-shelf brands that are in bulk rolls. This is the specific color I needed for one project and was available here. This is one of the easiest HTVs to work with. It cuts with a normal pressure and blade length, and peels like butter during weeding. The transfer is easy too, I used 310F for 20 seconds and it did transfer very well. The texture after the transfer is very smooth but you would feel that it is a viny, it does not penetrate and merge in the fabric.Overall, is a good vinyl to work with.
