Just broken.
The product looked like it was damaged return that had just been repackaged and sent on to me. Unusable rubbish!

Works
This works great, although I first purchased this from the company directly and the one they sent me leaked from the handle. But this one that I ordered from Amazon works great even though it's the same brand and model. I can only assume that the first one had a factory defect.

Off grid water!!
We have a vintage trailer for camping. When off grid camping we still need water. This is the exact same pump that was installed way back in 1963 when our trailer was new. It even has the same name molded into the base. Works perfectly. Draws water from a 10 gallon tank that is set below and about 4 feet away from the pump. Has a hold position so that constant flow is ready when needed. Not a single leak was found. Pumps a good volume too. A couple pumps will give you approx. a cup of water.Installation was a snap. Just mount the pump in the existing hole as it is the exact same dimentions. Push and clamp the inlet hose and pump away. If you have no hole in the location that you want to mount it, just measure the base and cut a round circle to allow it to drop into place.Comes in a blister pack and includes the pump and mounting screws. We are please with it so far. We see that some have had crack issues and we will keep an eye out for that. So far not a single problem. This could be a good option for all of out vintage camper friends rebuilding their rigs.

Looks like they sold me a previous (broken) return
Was originally going to install this in March 2020. Because of the pandemic, I delayed my trip and didn't bother to install right away (and so am now outside the return period)Upon install, it leaked like a sieve. Probably about 1/4 as much leaks as flows from the tap. Upon closer inspection, I notice tool marks that look like someone already tried to tighten the plastic nut on the arm. This is where it leaks heavily from. Also noticed some adhesive on the base that I didn't apply and doesn't look like it's from manufacturing. Make sure to at least test yours early and return it if it leaks at all.Update: Opened it up to see if I could fix it somehow, and found that it was just fully broken on the inside (the plastic piece that would hold the interior o-ring was shattered. Do not buy.Update 2: I'm going to give credit where it's due: Valterra sent me a new faucet under their one-year warranty even though I was slightly over the deadline. The new one works as it should, although I'm still a bit anxious about it.Update 3: The new faucet lasted a whole year in my campervan and hasn't leaked, despite some consistent use and abuse. I've changed my tune. Would recommend.
