I have an older DSLR camera and it is still kicking, but it is a bit cumbersome when you want to use it with all the lenses and filters etc. I figured since I have an S23 Ultra so why not try to make it into a pseudo "pro cell phone digital camera". I did some reading and found that to keep my rig after upgrading my phones it would have to be a universal phone cage. I settled on SmallRig due to its quality and adaptability. While my phone fits merfectly fine with mounted filter adapter and filter I can also add so bunch of other accessories to it. The cage uses standard photo 1/4" -20 mounting screws allowing even other manufacturers accessories to be added to the device. I personally added a power bank holder for recordings. I had several amateur photo shoots and the device is really nice. I added a Bluetooth handle so I can trigger photos or videos easly. As far as video recording goes this cage provides you with added stability to your videos making them looking more pro. I like this cage and use it often becuse of it's ease to mount my large phone and accessories. I am really glad that SmallRig makes such things.

Wowser Wowser Wowser!! I bought this as a quick fix for mobile video shooting using my phone. Boy was i going to be happy. The second I held the box in my hand my heart started racing. I knew, this was a good product. the weight alone told me this was going to be a durable piece. I use a s 24 ultra and it's in a case, my phone with it's case fits in this frame. Then I use 2 lights on top for good lighting and it works awesome. Compared to a 200$ one i broke I'd run to this all day. save your money and buy quality.

I've recently started shooting video for TV productions with my Samsung S24 Ultra. Really impressed with is quality, so I decided to see how I coukd improve the handling for production use. This frame holds the phone securely and with room for a mic to be wired up to the USB port. The cold shoe mounts are super convenient for adding lighting, mic mounts, or other accessories. The handles are rugged and good grip.I do miss the option of a record button or function in the handle, but that's a minor gripe.Overall, I'm very pleased with the value for the price, and how versatile this rig is for my purposes. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a more functional way to shoot video on your phone.

Great build quality, sturdy while not being too heavy. The attachment of handle to the cage is bit kludgy (and that knocks a point off) however once put together stays put.

smallrig makes carefully considered high quality products adn this one is no exception. The "cage" is oversized to fit all phones. THe important thing is how it clamps your phone. You need a lot of headroom to assess for not squeezing the volume or power button in landscape view. I used it on my 15 pro with case anyway. I don't want to leave marks on the phone. My only complaint is there should be more 1/4" threads even though there is allegedly 20 of them. Its very light and sturdy. The shoe mounts help and so do the 2 zip ties.

The media could not be loaded. This is pretty amazing! No more shaky videos for me. And for the price , so attractive! You can’t find a better deal for the quality.

A great way to hold an iPhone at different placements and angles. Ground level and over the head. Very well designed and sturdy. Plenty of attachment possibilities.
