I used the Kansas and the Cuban yesterday.5hrs cooking time in my new BBQ/smoker.The Cuban I thought would be best off on some chicken, and boy was I right!!!The Kansas went on a 2kg lump of beef, and it too was fantastic.Admittedly, we basted both with cider and Pepsi Max cherry, just to prevent the meat drying out.I will try to update this review with the other rubs when we have used them.

Docked a star due to the expense. My fault for not checking but I had assumed they would be larger bottles given the price - they are actually standard spice bottle sized so £4 a bottle which seems a lot.However, they are AMAZING spice mixes!Really interesting combinations & they go with so many things. Fantastic for livening things up on the BBQ & soooo good with steak. They're all really different & the name descriptions are accurate for the flavour you get - we haven't found one we didn't like yet.

These are expensive for spice mixes, so I would have expected them to be fantastic. They are all on the sweet side and quite generic, hardly any difference between them, hardly spicy. I make my own taco spice mix and was hoping for inspiration from them, but my husband just said that my mixture "wipes the floor with them".

I actually bought these rubs as a gift for somebody and have yet to try them. But I have purchased a number of sauces from Firefly in the past and have simply ADORED every single one of them. This great flavour, combined with little touches like the inclusion of recipe and cooking ideas/instructions in the box show that Firefly care about going the extra mile to give you the best possible experience with their products!

These are great spices, well flavoured and great on stekas and eaven vegan steaks! Family most impressed

Look cheap and nasty - plastic bottles placed in a cardboard box

These rubs are a great way to enhance your meals. My personal favourite is the Texas hot n spicy on a juicy sirloin steak.I'll definitely be buying more of these.

Quite disappointing. Didn’t receive one of the rubs I requested and got a different one instead, so I effectively paid for something I didn’t want to purchase.A better system needs to be adopted for communicating which rubs are wanted.Unfortunately I wouldn’t purchase again because of this.
