This polish is amazing. I'm a nail freak and have tried pretty much every line available. Cirque edges out Julep, Essie and OPI because of it's brush delivery system and quality of polish. If applied properly (clean nail, covered with base coat and applied with a strip down the middle, followed by both sides) you don't need a second coat. I do apply two coats out of habit. I took photos for my girlfriends that I will post (right after polishing and 10 days later). You can see the shine has worn down and there's nail growth, but no chips or dents. I wash dishes, clean house, do laundry just like everyone else and this polish stuck like glue. Surprisingly, it was easy to remove. I've ordered 6 colors now and have found success with all six.

So I bought this based on a review of black nail polishes by Simply Nailogical, and I'm so glad that I did! It indeed only needs one coat! The shipping was fast, the packaging was super secure so the bottle wouldn't break, and I even got a hand-written thank you note! I will be buying more Cirque polishes in the future.Lastly, the first picture is of the nail polish with a holo top coat and a quick dry top coat over it.

This formula is great and long-lasting, but the color of the products isn't true-to-life or even close. Make sure you Google each shade to get more accurate pictures. The color Urbanized, listed as mustard yellow, is much more pale and muted in person.

I'm so glad I bought this based on the reviews!! I got the shade Red Hook & it looks exactly like the picture. The formula is beautiful - 100% pigmented and smooth. I usually paint over fake nails, but I tried these on my real nails & I'm in love!OPI, essie, sinful colors, & china glaze polishes don't work on my real nails because the polish gets clumpy & uneven, or it's just not pigmented enough. They're also harder to use because they always spill off my nail & get into my cuticles really easily, but this polish did not! I'm literally going to buy some more colors right after this review. SO worth the money.

I bought this in a pure white and it was excellent in coverage with two coats, stayed on well, and did not yellow at all. I buy this brand for their black color as well-- the best black you can buy. I use various top coats over the black for the holidays, it really sets off a sparkling glitter polish.

This is the best black nail polish I have ever purchased. It is very fluid and covers my nail smoothly. With a good top coat it lasts over a week without significant chipping (I work a job where my nails see a lot of wear and tear). The only thing is: one time the brush separated from the cap making it impossible to apply. I capped it back up, left it alone for a few days and when I opened it again the brush had reattached? Haven't had that problem since. Planning to reorder when mine runs dry.

Memento Mori beats out every black nail polish I have ever tried, and believe me I've tried tons. One coat is the blackest black and at 100% opacity. A second coat is optional but definitely not needed.

This black works very well for my daughter.
