Good bit of kit
Easy to install and heats up very quickly and very well, only thing I've changed is the fuel pump to a silent fuel pump which makes it even better but overall very good value for money and good quality product.

Cheapest on here, and well worth the money.
Installed in a classic VW beetle. Used the water bottle for fuel. Read online about installation as the writing in the instruction manual is difficult to follow.Plastic fuel lines and clips excellent - rubber tubing for hose is excellent. Fuel pump a little noisy but plenty of alternatives.Buy a cheap Co2 meter as they are untuned from the factory and quite wasteful on diesel. Don't use old engine oil as you will spend too much time cleaning it out. Exhaust temps get up to 200 degrees+ so use exhaust wrap to make it far safer. The hose clips for the exhaust and air input supplied are made of cheese. Throw them away and use a SOLID not LADDERED band.Remote easiest way to switch on and off. Works a treat and warms up the car in no time at all.Very noisy on full output - Worth installing the main engine outside and have that pumping in if you are heating an outbuilding. Will buy another for sure.

Good and cost effective
A great bit of kit thats competitively priced. If you're installing, order a mounting castle as well as it makes everything a bit safer and easier - particularly with the heat dissipation from the exhaust - as you can see from the pucture I've not had to cut away the flooring or insulation bar the straight through hole. With this being a Chinese copy of the original (I think they let their patent laps or something??) it doesn't benefit from the "noiseless" pump, but with the gentle whirring of the heater inside the van, the ticking pump mounted outside isn't a noise issue really.Only losing a star as the jubilee clips and Self-tapping screws are a bit rubbish - definitely worth spending a couple of quid on better ones from B and Q.

Cheap but works ...sort of
Product works but is cheap and nasty, if not downright dangerous. Exhaust silencer leaks all around so CO gas will be escaping underneath the vehicle and not just being blown out the end of the exhaust. No battery in the remote control and needs a tiny Philips screwdriver to open it. The battery it takes looks like a miniature version of an AAA, so not readily available to buy from most shops plus don't know what type is or what voltage it should be (some are 1.5v, other similar types are 3v).Heater case is very flimsy and I keep getting a random E09 error code, which is either a dodgy temp sensor or the fan is rubbing very slightly on the case and causing the random error code to occur. Either way, it causes the heater to turn off until manually reset. The control pad itself is so old that I can't even find a YouTube vid on how to use it and the included instructions don't mention anything about how to use the control pad.

If you're thinking of buying it,,, just buy it.
Great product.Got my Volkswagen crafter up to 26 degrees in 20 minutes, the heater itself is not noisy, like the blower in your car on a middle setting, but you do want the fuel pump outside as that's quite noisy tapping away. Also if you have it running flat out the air ducting pipes get worryingly hot, so stick to middle to low setting.Battery wise, it only used a couple of AH on start up , an hour'ish of use and shutdown, it has a glow plug that's turned on at start up and shutdown , presumably to clean the burning chamber at the end, then keeps the fan on to cool the unit at the end of this, so you need to make sure you have enough battery power at the end or the unit may melt.I'll need to purchase more ducting as this only comes with about four foot included, that depends on how big your van is of course. The remote control is also a nice touch to turn it on and off, will be doing that from the house on a frosty morning.Priming the pump is done by pressing, well holding the up and down keys at the same time, took me ages to work that one out. Tip,, you need to cut a square hole in floor of your vehicle or whatever your fixing it to, for the three pipes and the four bolts that screw the plate to the heater with the rubber between, think it was around 7cm by 10cm but check this yourself, then you put sealer around the hole and bolt the plate and heater at the same time to the vehicle or whatever. It is also easier if you can find a flat area to fix it to, I had to hammer the middle and washer the sides. And always drill from underneath to start.Hope this is helpful to some,Thanks Andy
