It’s a lovely foundation

This is a great foundation for the price and better than I was expecting. Is it "double wear" good? No, but the performance difference is far less than the price difference between this and a premium foundation. The shade classifications make selecting a match relatively easy if you know your skin's undertone. The foundation is not completely transfer-proof but on the skin if used with a primer I'm getting around 8 hours without it changing colour significantly or going patchy. It's not a dewy finish - more of a subtle glow, but not flat or chalky. I really like it. Works well on my middle-aged and combination skin. In terms of application it is buildable but I've found that less is better for an even finish. I'm not a heavy foundation fan, though. I've experimented with fingers, brush and damp sponge to apply/blend and the sponge is giving me the best finish.
