Amazingly Simple & tasty!
The book is easy to navigate and very clear to understand especially for novice cooks. I have tried other books by different authors and was lost & found it very complex! This author is amazing as he simplified every thing and arranged them in a very helpful & easy to navigate method! He also explains how to cook the dish in pressure cooker, slow cooker, and a regular deep pan or pot.I forgot to mention that the recipes I cooked turned out amazing!I recommend this book for all,& will certainly try his other books!

From little grains come delicious recipes
This guide to cooking rice the Indian way by Kumar is a one-stop shop on cooking rice. As I read it on my Kindle, I wrote up (and later printed out) two recipes to try which require little cooking. Kumar spells out the ingredients in full and gives 3 ways of cooking it, either in a pressure cooker, a pan or a rice cooker. Like his other books, Kumar gives the preparation time and the total time so one knows how long each recipe will take. Kumar is very thorough and repeats some steps to make it easier for a Kindle reader. All in all, a worthwhile cookery book for newbies and old hands.

What variety!
Now I have learned that rice really is like a blank canvas - the number of different tastes (non-American) are unbelievable. I feel like I'm learning to cook all over again. American cooking seems so bland to me now. This book (all his books) are simple, fast, and just fantastic. I had them in my cart forever and finally splurged and it was well worth it!
