Second day of use and they have made it home vs the shed they were abandoned under. Tonight’s low will be 31 and I learned the escape door works perfectly! I stuck my hand in to feel if they were in there and they both shot out of the back door, I won’t do that again. I’m thinking I will add a camera inside so I can check them late night. After watching them climb on the roof I checked and there aren’t claw marks. It is impressively sturdy and warm so far. Not sure what it will be like at -30 temps but hopefully will have a home for them by then (my old cat won’t tolerate in her space). Know the instructions aren’t the best, but easy to figure it out, 15 minutes and it was ready. I wish it had a roof panel that lifted to clean it, add a rug, take a look at who is using it… as it is you have to roll up the heating pad to insert it. I did sprinkle a bit of catnip to entice them in, and it worked, now I think they go in just for the warmth. I wouldn’t hesitate to make this purchase again, love the peaked roof.

We've tried several different outdoor cat houses, even made our own, but nothing worked well in severe winter. Finally, we tried Clawsable. Yes, this heated outdoor cat house is expensive, but worth every penny. We love it and the stray cats love it. It will stand up to just about any weather and stay nice and cozy and warm. So glad we spent the extra money for a product that really works. It is an excellent product.

Perfect for what we need. It was easy to put together. I do wish I had ordered the bigger size simply because it seems to be a tight fit for a relatively small cat. I guess that will good for keeping him warm though.

Just what I needed and more! Big enough for two small cats, will keep my strays warm in a Michigan winter.

I ordered this cat house to put on my porch for the stray cats that live around my neighborhood so they could hide from the weather this winter. I am very pleased with it! It is sturdy and was simple to assemble. The model I received does not have the heating element, but it does have a very soft cushion that fits on the bottom well. I assembled it in the house, and my cat immediately looked it over then crawled inside and took a nap. Once she woke up, she decided that she also liked sitting on top of it. She is an average sized cat - approximately 10 pounds. My larger cat also likes to sit on the top of it. She weights about 14 pounds and the house holds her just fine too. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well made it is and how easily it went together. I plan on ordering a couple more so there is plenty of shelter for the stray/feral cats I have come to care about this winter. I definitely recommend it.

As we are lingering into the cold fall season, into winter, our barn/garage cat needed a dependable place to keep warm. I love that this comes with a slot to run a cord from a heating blanket to assure proper warmth when needed. This was also extremely easy to put together and is very sturdy!

Shelters are easy to put together, insulated and fairly waterproof. I have 3 of these and prefer this brand to others.

I've tried several Cat houses that claim to be outdoor but really aren't, either because it lacks a covering for the door so water gets in, has no insulation, or is just really flimsy. This is well insulated, has a secure door cover, and will stand up to wind and rain, and is set up for an electric heating pad.The price is in line with other similar outdoor shelters so it's not a bad deal.
