The packaging on this product is beautiful, the attention to detail is next level. Energy levels feel improved since using this supplement. The resin is easy to take, and it mixes well into warm water or tea. I caught on the hype with Shilajit and wanted to give it a try. This looked like a good option and I decided to give it a go. The taste when diluted in water is not appealing to say the least. When solid, the substance looks like asphalt and and has a very bitter taste. I started with low doses and upped it as recommended. However, I haven't noticed any effect worth mentioning.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve become a bit of a Shilajit aficionado. The market is also flooded with so many Shilajit products and not all of them are genuine. It’s actually really tricky to work out which ones are good and which ones on. I go on instinct and smell and look and also research the company. This one just looks quite light in colour and it’s a runnier than what I am used to Shilajit resin should be by nature like tar - really dark and sticky and this is a more coffee coloured / looks a bit watered down. So I’m going to go with my Spidey senses and choose not to use this. I may be wrong but what I put in my body needs to be top-notch quality and I’m just not sure on this one. Sorry.

This jar of ShilaJit arrives in a nice looking, DirectPurity branded cardboard box. Inside the jar is also branded DirectPurity. Oddly though, I can find no web presence for DirectPurity, other than their Amazon page.The only contact details given on the box or jar is for an address in London, which turns out to be a virtual company address, rather than an actual physical location for the company. Upon checking the Government’s Companies House website, it turns out that DirectPurity Ltd. was only incorporated on 14th April 2024 (just five months ago), and is registered to a private address in Middlesbrough.In other words, there seems to be no web presence or physical presence for DirectPurity, which is odd for a company that claims on its Amazon “About Us” page to be “a leading UK supplement brand dedicated to excellence through scientific innovation and high-quality ingredients”.So given this information, I was very wary of trying this resin, as I had no idea where it was made, nor any trust in what the label said. So I set out to test if it was genuinely Gold Shilajit Resin or not. Apparently, when exposed to flame, genuine Shilajit Resin will bubble, expand and emit ash.
