Schmidt'sDeodorant Stick, Lavender + Sage, 3.25 Ounce

After 10 years on Amazon I've never reviewed a product until now - it's that good!!I've only given it 4 stars though as the texture and ease of application isn't great but its performance is stratospheric. I'm pretty sweaty under there but this deodorant excels where others clearly fail. Yes, it is much more expensive than your average brand but if you can pick and choose then pick this product. Beautiful smell, absolutely no staleness and lasted two days when I was having a new bathroom fitted, for someone as sweaty as me that has never happened before!!

Schmidt’s makes THE BEST deodorant. I honestly wouldn’t use anything else. I teach fitness classes, and I’m a total stink weed without deodorant, and this stuff really keeps the BO at bay! You WILL sweat because it’s not an antiperspirant but you won’t smell. Zero odour. I’ve tried every natural deodorant out there—and spent literally hundreds of euro trying out different brands then throwing them away because they weren’t effective. My sister stumbled across Schmidt’s in America and raved about it so I figured I’d give it a go. It’s truly the best natural deodorant I’ve tried. I wouldn’t dream of going back to an aluminium based deodorant and definitely won’t even use any other natural deodorants. I just wish it were easier to find in the U.K./Ireland. Love my Schmidt’s

I love the idea that this dedorant is aluminium free I am aware that it needs to be warmed first before using but I still find it gritty and it puts me off. I have now purchased a similar item from another company which is more creamy in texture and much better.

I had been looking for a healthy non toxic deodorant, and this brand came up. The smell is amazing, but it does create a white paste under the arm, and can develop a little rash too. The white paste will stick and show on ANY black or dark top you wear, so make sure you let it dry before putting on any jumpers etc. After a few months it just stopped being efficient all together and the smell of the product would disappear within a few hours while the sweat smell would overpower... great shame as loved the smell and idea behind it. Still looking for a good non toxic deodorant!

I have never liked roll-on deodorants, but was looking for a more natural alternative to my famous brand aerosol.I love these Schmidt deodorants! They work surprisingly well as an antiperspirant, even lasting a 12 hour shift. Some of the fragrances, particularly the lavender, are just lovely.

I never usually do reviews but for this I had to. This deodorant is brilliant, I am a very sweaty person generally so finding a natural deodorant that works has been a challenge to say the least. Today was my first use of this product and I was sceptical (as always), it was an extreamely hot and muggy day but boy did this work, in fact it worked better than any natural and NON NATURAL deo I have ever used!!! If it continues to work like this I will never buy anything else again! Schmidt whoever you are I love you!

Unfortunately Schmidt's classic line irritates my armpits quite a bit. Also this particular scent (like another one from this range, juniper and cedar - doesn't happen with bergamot and lime, rose and vanilla, or ylang ylang and calendula, so maybe it's something about herbal scents) goes a bit harsh over time - I think it's the sage. So not a product for me, but I know some people who really like this line and it works great for them. The scent going odd might be my body chemistry. If your skin is more sensitive, I highly recommend Schmidt's sensitive line (I've tried the tea tree and the geranium scents, they're both lovely).

i tried the ylang scented schmidts deo first,the twist up didn;t work so i had to scoop it out and rub it on my armpits,when it got to the end there was a hard lump of what i think is bicarb round the twist stick-wonder if not mixed well enough,anyway ,this lavender ones twist works ,much easier to use,smells lovely,keeps my pits fresh and not sore on occasion as the other one did,maybe too much bicarb in some batches?best natural deo i have used though for not smelling sweaty after a couple of hours after appyling !
