Excellent
I am still learning all the pieces and parts of this product, but my first impression is that it's a very competent dash cam. It has options for recording anything inside the vehicle (with easily aimed cameras) or anything that happens outside while you have it parked. In order to do that properly, you have to install the recommended hardware kit.I had mine installed professionally because I just am not competent with electronic stuff to that level. I am sure if you wanted, and you know how, you could do that, too. Or, use the temporary wiring that comes with it. I am more of a "let's do this neatly" person, so I would only have it installed with the permanent wiring in any case. The screen is pretty small and it's hard to read (my eyes along with the rest of me) are old, and that makes it a bit harder. However, once you get it set up, all you really need is to have the memory card installed and let it record things that happen. I think it's a mistake to count on this to be anything as you are driving other than a recorder for bad things that could occur. There's an app, with which I am still working, trying to get it connected to my phone (it's not the easiest to install), but this hardware works whether the app is connected or not.And in the end, it's all about being able to present your side of what happened, if you have an accident. It does a good job of that, as far as I can tell, though I am very happy to be able to say that I've not had a wreck in more than 40 years. Not eager to break that record, either, but if I do......I'm covered!

It's functional
The Hupejos dash cam is functional, but leaves a lot to be desired. The good point is that you can pull the uSD card out and directly read and view the video files, even on a Linux machine. The annoying part is that the GPS receiver is not integrated into it internally; it's a separate unit with another cable to deal with. The bad point is that its app demands location data of your phone (which is absolutely not necessary), but it would not even find the unit from my phone, and I was already directly connected to the camera's WiFi access point. From a regular computer I was able to connect to it, and while it has an HTTP server, it does not provide any usable HTML/WebPage interface into it. It has TCP ports 23, 80, and 554 open. I didn't find credentials to the TELNET port, and I wasn't able to get it to stream video from the RTSP port.

A little bulky, but full 360 recording!
I love dash cams. I drive a lot to visit my daughter, and anyone who drives knows other drivers do stupid things. It's not as terrible in my area as in others, but I've had plenty of near-misses (and a few not-misses) in my life. I've owned a few dash cams already, but only one records inside the cab, and that was a required feature for me, in case someone tried to mug me, or I wanted to keep a police stop recorded. When I saw this I had to try it.The unit arrived in a nice box, and comes with the front cameras, a rear camera, connection cable between the two, a cigarette-lighter power cord, and a few installation tools. I had hoped it would come with an always-plugged in wiring harness and not just the cigarette lighter power cord, but that's a separate purchase. The parking feature requires the harness as it comes with a radar of sorts.Installation isn't super easy as you'll likely have to pop out trim pieces to accomplish it. I recommend buying a separate edge-removing tool kit, the inexpensive ones are about $10. Luckily I had a power cable that fit this camera already installed so I only had to run the wire for the new camera.Once it's all plugged in it turns on automatically. The screen is fairly large, and you can choose between viewing one camera, the sides alone, the front and back alone, the front three, or all cameras at once. It's hard to see detail when you have multiple ones running, but it's not like you really need to see anything unless you're checking the cameras are functional/aimed well or pulling up a saved video (though you can do this through the app and/or memory card).Unlike on some cameras you can't adjust most of the settings through the app, but only through the device. This isn't a huge deal, but I found it odd. Luckily, changing the settings on the device is pretty easy, and there wasn't much I had to change out of the box.I haven't had to recall any videos for anything serious, but the recording quality seems solid. I haven't tested it at night but when I do I'll try to remember to update my review. The only real downside to this camera is the lack of mounting options. There's just a suction cup, which is bulky, and makes it more difficult to find a good location for it. My previous dash cams could fit in the space between my roof and my rearview mirror, which made it unobtrusive, but this one, due to the size of the additional side cameras and the large suction cup, has to sit below my rearview mirror and a bit in the way.Overall I'm pretty pleased with this camera, but if you want it keep in mind it has a fairly large footprint. It also requires an additional purchase if you want to have it powered automatically and use the parking monitor feature. If you can deal with these then it's a great camera, so knowing the limitations I can still recommend.

It's nice, but sooooo many cameras!
This V7PLUS 4-channel dash cam offers comprehensive coverage with its 360-degree view and multiple cameras. The high-resolution footage and features like loop recording, parking mode, and night vision are beneficial for capturing driving incidents. However, the complexity of the system with four cameras might be excessive for average drivers. It may be better suited for those with specific needs like ride-sharing or fleet management.
