These are great for so many different things. I use them for Sermon Notes- Journaling. The Value is great , Stunning colors and makes writing easier because they are lined.

Since I work at a school, they have only one color (yellow), and I needed to have a color system in place for my own records and notes. These are not SUPER sticky, but they do hang on and do what they are supposed to do. I love having them on hand, and the colors I chose work for me.

I completely understand someone looking at these and asking, "Why would I spend $9 on sticky notes? Aren't they just pieces of paper?" And, technically, yes. They are. But as someone who does a lot of academic reading and book annotation, the size makes these considerably more useful to me than ordinary sticky notes or page flags. They're large enough to actually write a substantive note rather than squeezing a thought into a tiny space, and then I can place that note directly on the relevant page in the book. That's particularly useful when I'm reading for research. Instead of putting a small flag on a page and keeping my actual notes somewhere else, I can write the observation, interpretation, question, or connection while I'm reading and keep it physically attached to the passage that prompted it. When I return to the book later, my thinking is right there with the text. For casual everyday use, you can absolutely buy cheaper sticky notes and be perfectly happy. I wouldn't argue otherwise. But for academics, students, researchers, or anyone who annotates books heavily, these solve a very specific problem surprisingly well. Pros: excellent size for detailed annotations, enough writing space for substantive notes, easy to keep commentary directly with the relevant page, and especially useful for academic reading and research. Are they still pieces of paper? Absolutely. But they're pieces of paper in exactly the size and format I wanted, and that has made them genuinely useful for the way I read.
