I use a HODO hub for my work laptop to connect to two screens, camera and WiFi keyboard but the lead which connects it to the laptop is a little short which limits my desk arrangement. This extension lead allows me to arrange my desk the way I want it without any loss of performance, it has been a great buy for me and as a result I can recommend it.

When you look at the specifications for this cable it looks very impressive when it comes to data transfer and power delivery. It’s also USB 4 compatible, making it future-proof (well, as much as it can be in a fast -moving industry like this), and supports 100W power delivery, which is perfect for fast charging your devices.Remember that this is an extension cable, so the cable that you use with this, also has to be the same spec or compatible for what it is you are trying to do with it. The good thing about USB-C extension cables is that you don't have to worry about the orientation of the cable that is going to attach to this. The cable fits which ever way you put it in thanks to the symmetrical connector of the USB specification.There are a couple of areas where this cable could be improved. Firstly it doesn't have a braided sheath, but instead it just has an ordinary plastic sheath, which makes it looks a bit cheap. Durability also comes into question, because the connectors are also plastic with very little strain relief.

I have put this usb c extension cable to use in various different situations over the last few weeks including using to supply PD to a laptop (it kept the laptop fully charged along with the power source & usb c power cable I was using - as expected as it's rated for 240W), charging a phone (fast as expected), data transfer to a usb C flash drive as well as a phone, with a good usb c data transfer cable being extended (in both cases it was blazingly fast as was the cable I extended with it - of course so as it's rated for 20 gig which is roughly 2500 megabytes a second, which is practically SSD speed. So as fast as you'll need for an extension cable, 240W is enough to power any laptop I am aware of too, and 1M is a reasonable extension length. The only limitation is the cable you are extending with it! Value is excellent for these specs too. Very happy with the extension cable.
