This Newborn Adapter is needed if you want the bassinet on the top of your Bugaboo Kangaroo. We got it because it made more sense to have our baby closer to us and toddler in the front. Wish it didn't need to be a separate adapter needed in order to make this configuration work given how pricey the Kangaroo stroller is, but I guess this is the way Bugaboo designed their double stroller.

This adapter clicks in securely and makes switching between the stroller frame and bassinet smooth. It feels sturdy and fits perfectly with the Bugaboo setup. If you have the bassinet, it’s basically essential. A little pricey for such a small piece, but still good value because it works flawlessly. Super easy to assemble onto stroller!

Live having the bassinet on the top of the stroller so i can see my newborn. Not a con with this product in particular but the toddler seat has to sit up super straight with the bassinet on top connector. So that sucks, but i dislike having bassinet on the bottom.

My review is for the Bugaboo Kangaroo Upper Newborn Adapter for Bassinet We have the stroller that this fits on, but we didn't yet have this OEM part. Considering it's our babies health and safety that is on the line here, I was pleased to have access to this OEM piece. So, one it fits perfectly, and two, more importantly, I feel better knowing that this is the secure fit, thus removing some risk of injury. What I was surprised about was the size of this and how heavy it was! That also gave me reassurance that this is safe to use. As well as that it will last hopefully for this baby and beyond. The price is actually reasonable at $40, considering the immense cost of the original stroller! lol

This adapter is absolutely perfect if you need it. It lifts the bassinet up and brings you closer, making it a lot easier to care for LO. The quality is really good, sturdy. It's easy to install and while a tiny bit heavier than preferred, it makes it feel more secure.

If you’ve got the Bugaboo Kangaroo stroller, the Bugaboo Bassinet and a newborn, this small but essential adapter is what you need. It holds our Bugaboo bassinet right up close, making it easy to see and interact with our LO. Installation is quick, only about five minutes to clip on. Just note, it’s only compatible with the Kangaroo model stroller, not the Fox or Donkey strollers. But for the Kangaroo, it fits perfectly and works exactly as intended. Works great and allows our older toddler to still ride along, with baby up close near me.

Works as expected! It’s heavy though, but you need it if you want the two seats in!
