A must for CUDA capability in small form factor PCs
I have a 5-year-old Dell Precision 3431 that wasn't making it for AI experimentation. This single-slot solution from Yeston requires no additional power connection and makes my PyTorch and TensorFlow neural networks run 15-20 times faster than on the venerable i9-9900. This is the best upgrade for the money and gives me time to save my pennies for a replacement machine. The fan is variable speed and does wind up under heavy use. At idle, the card draws 6-7w at 30c; At full load, it takes 65-67w at 80c and that fan makes plenty of "fan" noise. I only get an Nvidia performance rate of P2 (high -- P0 is highest), but I haven't tried to tweak anything yet since 80c is warm enough. I did add a couple of external USB fans to help improve airflow through the case but, other than that, no mods. You do need a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the magenta heat sink cover as they didn't make it easy to swap out the full-height bracket for the included half-height one (should be the default from the factory IMHO). Enjoy!!!

Best in class
Its a single slot 3050 6 gb. Its the best in class gpu for this. If you want the best price to performance single slot card that can run without any cables [75w]. Its under 250$. The only single slot card that can beat this is the arc a310 sparkle but only with video encoding in AV1.since the 3050 doesn't support eav1 encoding.this card is perfect for sff office pcs

Almost perfect except for the PIA bracket replacement for SFF computers
Works great, is quiet and is 5-star "perfect . . . EXCEPT. The whole reason most people will buy this GPU is because they need it for a SFF computer. So WHY does it come with the full size bracket installed? Ont that requires you to remove EIGHT screws, four of which (as others have noted) are tiny jeweler's size to replace with the included short bracket? ESPECIALLY since you could avoid those 4 tiny screws if you cut one small hole in the metal shroud in manufacturing? Then you only need to remove the regular computer-scale screws to do this. Minus one star for an otherwise excellent GPU.

Good graphics card for a Minisforum MS-01.
This is something of a specialty item: a laptop GPU (RTX3050) on a low-profile single-slot PCIE card. This makes it one of the few graphics cards that can be mounted in a small form factor computer. I use this in a Minisforum MS-01 where it mounts easily without any modifications. It has worked well running SolidWorks. In the MS-01 it runs at ~50C most of the time with a 4K display, so there is some headroom available thermally. Fan noise is very low.

Really fits a need I have
This really fit a need I had for a small form-factor case. It comes with both size brackets for SFF and full-size cases. That was important for me because I need to move it around to different PCs now and then. I have the bigger brother RTX3060, and this baby fits a need without giving up too much 1080p gaming FPS. Cute color, too!

Great card!
Work perfectly in my Dell Optiplex 7050.

didn't come with low profile bracket
what's the point of a low profile GPU that doesn't come with an LP bracket?will rate 5 when they actually start putting them in the box.aside from that it's a 3050 6gb, slower than the 8gb model, and this one is power limited to 75W.

The only real option for low profile single slot GPUs
If you're looking for a single slot low profile GPU this is the only one you should consider. There are better low profile GPUs (4060) but they take 2+ slots, and there are better full size GPUs, but this is the best smallest one. I bought it to fit into a 1L Lenovo M90q with a PCIe adapter and it's been chugging along. It took a SEVERE undervolt profile to get it to stop power limit throttling, but once that was done it's been good. The 75W limit stunts it's potential, but the undervolt produces a noticeable boost in frames.Annoyingly it ships with the full height back cover, which nobody will want. Installing the half height cover requires removing the fan shroud, which requires a jewelers screwdriver, which is all unnecessary because nobody who buys this card wants the full height slot cover. The fan is audible at all times, and will increase in speed as it heats up, but I wouldn't call it "loud." Think light fan noise, not leafblower whine.
