It's inexpensive, and it's pretty much accurate for personal use. Shows clear difference when placed in a room where there are many people sitting and not much air flow, and to tell whether the meeting room I'm entering is going to put me into a sleepy mood this is a good device. Alarm when readings are too high is very useful for camping to ensure we dont go into deep sleep. However my understanding is it checks CO2 only and not CO.
