Better Action Cams
Returned a dud GoPro Hero13 Black and chose this as an alternative. Found this to be much better quality both in build and software/performance, and at a better price. I'd recommend DJI instead for anyone looking. Very easy to use, plenty of mount options, video and sound quality are great, and great waterproofing seals.

Love this little Camera!!
What a great little action cam! This thing is so lightweight and easy to carry with you. I bought the extra batteries so that when I’m traveling, I don’t have to worry about battery issues or power issues. It’s easily mountable onto the suction cup mount or any selfie stick made for the DJI action five or nano. I’m not sure quite about the battery power yet as I haven’t really put it to the test I will do so on my next trip. But the larger file that you use the quicker the battery is going to go so if you’re shooting in 4K, even at 24.fps you might not have as much battery power as you would with 1080 P. But this will keep quality high and keep me from pulling out my phone all the time it’s a little bit more discreet for shooting when traveling, which I love, so definitely more value for the money compared to risking your phone all the time having that out. If it’s in the palm of your hand, or your pocket. Easy to carry with you wherever you go. You don’t need very many accessories however, I did get some filters and a screen protector and a selfie stick. It is easy to use super functional. It does come with one single battery, but I suggest if you’re going to be using it a lot, especially for travel definitely get the additional batteries and you will need a charging dock as well with the additional batteries. I also suggest getting some filters whether you get the DJI or other brands just make sure to read the reviews, but you’re definitely gonna need some type of CPL filter or ND filters. And if you have any questions about it, there’s tons of YouTube tutorials. This was a great buy! I am super happy with this! Go get one and get out there and get shooting!

Amazing action camera that packs a punch!
This is a fantastic and amazing camera! It has a lot of different options in terms of filming, 1080 to 2k, all the way to 4k - all with two types of ratio, 16:9 or 3:4 I believe. Different options will yield different maximum duration of recording (and data size), but great that it comes with internal memory as well, something you barely see cameras do, if ever. I’ve tested out the image stabilization as well, and it’s quite smooth, a great factor if anyone wants to start vlogging which is a huge bonus. It’s different modes of usage, from regular photos, recording, hyperlapse, to timelapse. It’s small, compact, and it charges quick. You can see in the picture compared to a US quarter! This ting is tiny but packs a punch! And the battery is great so far because when you film, there’s also a display saving mode where the screen goes dim and only shows you the duration of capture so far. I do want to record long road trips down the line, so I may pick up some spare batteries eventually. The build quality is nice, sturdy, and waterproof, which is also something I want to take on my adventures when we travel abroad. This doesn’t come with a flip screen like the Ace Pro 2, but I prefer it this way because it’s another hardware that I have to be mindful of, constantly abusing the hinges. DJI decided to have a front facing display to remedy this and it’s great! You’re able to control and preview anything from either sides. If I HAD to nitpick - the downside of this one is the audio, which by all means isn’t bad and absolutely normal with all cameras. I’ve done my research and the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 has a shield for the audio to reduce noise which is a great perk. But comparing the two, for quality of recording and night time options, I went with the Action 5 Pro. I bought a shotgun mic (Movo X1 Minit) to attach to the camera so I can reduce the surrounding noise and get more audio coming in to the direction I’m facing. Overall extremely happy with the purchase. Can’t wait to use it on different occasions!

Great product
Works amazing. Definitely better than my gopro. Battery lasts longer and hasnt overheated in the sun which my gopro does in the summer. Quality of video has been amazing

Great camera, Would reccomend.
Loads of features, smooth stabilization, Has built in storage, Pretty good battery life, Solid in low light, Its not going to be night vision but it records. Good camera overall. If you dont want to spend the extra money on the 5, the 4 is going to be fine. I was super concerned about storage so I went for the 5 because of the built in 49 or so gigs but with my 512GB SD card I can get like 19 hours of footage so its really not necessary to have I don't think, and if you put a 1TB SD card in, You're more than golden. Its not super heavy but still has some heft. Its really easy to use and setup, Its waterproof so if you get caught in the rain or it falls into a puddle its fine. And itll work with almost any microphone.

A Cinematic Powerhouse in Your Pocket
After spending several weeks with the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, I can confidently say it's a game-changer for content creators and adventure enthusiasts alike. Pros: Exceptional Image Quality: The 1/1.3" sensor delivers stunning 4K footage with impressive dynamic range. Colors are vibrant, and details are crisp, even in challenging lighting conditions. Cadena SER +8 DJI Store +8 Best Buy +8 Low-Light Performance: The SuperNight mode is a standout feature, capturing clear and detailed footage in low-light scenarios where other action cameras falter. Stabilization: HorizonSteady 360° stabilization ensures smooth and steady footage, even during high-intensity activities. Amazon +4 Diario AS +4 DJI Store +4 Battery Life: With up to 4 hours of continuous recording, the battery life surpasses many competitors, reducing the need for frequent swaps. The Verge Dual OLED Touchscreens: The front and rear touchscreens are bright and responsive, making framing and setting adjustments a breeze. Cons: Built-in Storage Limitations: While the 47GB internal storage is handy, it fills up quickly when shooting in high resolutions. An external microSD card is essential for extended shoots. DJI Official +2 The Verge +2 Wikipedia +2 Audio Quality: The built-in microphones are decent but can pick up background noise. For professional audio, pairing with an external mic is recommended. Final Thoughts: The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is a robust and versatile action camera that excels in both performance and usability. Whether you're vlogging, capturing extreme sports, or documenting your travels, this camera delivers high-quality results. While there are minor drawbacks, they are easily mitigated with accessories. Overall, it's a worthy investment for anyone serious about capturing life's adventures in stunning detail.

Awesome but not perfect.
I like the device, and its performance is lovely. I enjoy the fact there’s onboard storage so if you don’t have a card you can still use it right out of the box. The sound is good, though highly suggest getting the mic if you want good crip sound. As for battery life it really comes down to what you use with it. Put everything to max and you’re gunna eat the battery alive, but you still get a good 2-4 hours of recording and I say that’s very reasonable. Plus this set comes with the extra batteries, only thing is you really want to use a power brick to charge the pack, using a pc port will leave you changing for eternity it seems. My biggest gripe is the need to pair with the app before you can use it. Which I understand why it’s done but I don’t feel it should be necessary and honestly it’s very intrusive. Given that you can’t even get the app on the Google store anymore- it really is a bit of a barrier and just feels like a scam waiting to happen.

Great Vloging camera with exceptionally large sensor
DJI Osmo Action 5 is small enough to fit into the palm of my hand. Yet the sensor is 1/1.3" - which is almost equal to 1" sensors like some of the high-end cameras now-a-day. In short, the bigger the sensor the better the pictures and videos. It also performs much better in low light condition. The second up front screen is helpful for the selfie shots. DJI has the setting menus down to a science where it is so intuitive to use without the steep learning curve. One small complain is the power and the shoot buttons are really hard to press. Perhaps they are by design to keep out water. I wish the buttons could be a little more on the lighter side.
