Mi Light WiFi Bridge Controller Wireless Dimmer iBox2, for Mi-Light Series RGBW WW/CW RGB+CCT Led Bulb, for Downlight Strip Light, Compatible with iOS iPhone iPad & Android System (WiFi Box)

I've been researching RGB+W lights for a while, with the ultimate goal of using them for a permanent outdoor landscape light installation. I've been eyeing these down for a while, as they're pretty much the only bulb that checks off all of my requirements. I finally bit the bullet and bought one to test. Suffice it to say, I'm very, very pleased with the results.1) The bulb is 12V, MR16 and fits in an outdoor flood light fixture and works fine with the landscape light transformer. It remembers its settings when the transformer turns off/on with the daylight sensor.2) The white light has a very nice color quality. The warm white is very warm and pleasant, the cold white light is very pure. Both are plenty bright for my needs. The W-WW selection is a very nice touch. I really only care about warm white, but having a choice is never bad.3) The RGB color light is exceptionally good. This concerned me more than anything, because I've owned a few cheap RGB light bulbs, and the spot lights always struggled to mix the colors. I wouldn't mind if the RGB light were a little brighter, but it was good enough for architectural accent lights.4) You can turn on RGB and White at the same time! I heard that older versions of these couldn't, but the newer ones apparently can. It wasn't straight forward, and it took a little bit of messing around to get it to work, but you can turn the W-WW and RGB at the same time and control the brightness of each to create "pastel" rgb colors. This is the one time I noticed I might use the CW instead of the WW. The CW mixed with the Blue to make a very pretty blue pastel more than the warm white mixed with the blue. But the warm white mixed better with orange or red, more than the blue did.5) There are several "modes" of color changing and blinking/pulsing. I don't plan on using any of them, but they are there and they did work.My test setup with one bulb worked great. I'm ordering nearly a dozen to complete my setup. I'll update my review if I encounter any long term issues. My greatest concern is moisture. My landscape light fixtures are well sealed, but I still worry about humidity being an issue (since I live in South Louisiana). I won't be happy if all of these fail/short in less than a year or so.

Using these in my salon on my catamaran. Replaced old LED lights because my eyesight isn’t what it used to be and needed brighter lights. Was concerned that the white would not be any brighter than what I had, but they turned out to be at least 30% brighter with the same amperage draw. Very easy to connect the remote. Colors looked great. Noticed someone mentioned in the review that the red looked more pink. This was important to me because during night sailing, we run red lights so it will not interfere with your night vision as much as the white lights. I found that if I slowly dialed the color wheel with my pinky instead of my forefinger, I was able to hit red dead on. My fatter finger would only get to pink before going to orange then yellow.So now that I have everything I wanted, I have found that I want more. I would like to assign the six saloon lights to different zones. Say Zone 1 would turn on all 6 lights, Zone 2 would only turn on 2 forward lights, and zone 4 would turn on the amidship and aft lights. Unfortunately, it seems I can only connect 1 bulb to a single zone, unless I buy another remote. Oh well, you can’t have it all!

read my description of the hub, yeah you will need a hub its 2.4 but not wifi. so no alexa turn off the mi lights and throw it out the window command without the hub, and even with the hub you might want to throw it out the window yourself, but it does work, sometimes.

good light but range is weak

Update: 1/13/18 - I actaully got these to work shortly after writing my prfevious review. I realized that I had to keep ONE of the regular white bulbs scrwed in and powerered on the track, as the white light helps stabalize the resistance. After that everything worked just fine. Its kind of a let down but you have to keep one light in in order to make the others sync up and work correctly. Althought this could be isolated to my building and my fixture. The lights work great now. I like the preset settings slowed down so they go trhough a nice relaxed color scheme.I can't get the app to sync with the 4 lights that I purchased. I don't have a remote, only using the IOS app. Mi-Light 3.0. It says to turn the power off, then on and within 3 seconds press the Zone On button 3 times or 5 times or whatever. Nothing ever happens, the lights just blink. UGH! Waste of time and money.If I'm doing something wrong I'll eat crow. But I dont think I am. I've connected to the Mi-Light router, then logged into my router. I get the configuration working fine, but the lights never seem to respond. I've reset the router many times and started from scratch. Always the same issue.

I very much like these. They seem brighter than a different company's 5W and these are 4W. I find the claim of 16 million colors a little misleading. Its a saturation of cool or warm white with the regular RGB multi colors. But you cannot find a brighter, more solid product.
