This is a game changer for a hard to reach lamp switch. Wish I had found this years ago.

Perfect, just as described

Works very well with dimmable LED bulbs. The dimmer pad works both ways, it can dim or make light glow brighter. Functional as you touch and hold your finger on the pad. The only drawbacks are that the dimmer function is not stepped but rather like a sliding scale, which can make the actual dimmable bulb totally dependent on the rated watt/lumens. I found that the dimmer doesn’t effectively dim a 100 watt equivalent LED and changed the bulb to 60 watt equivalent for a decent dim range.

I have purchased dimmers for many years. I do not like these at all. I expected the same type of dimmer that I have been purchasing for years. This dimmer is not always responsive not intuitive and I’m not happy. I will purchase another set of dimmers. Definitely not anything like this one.

Ooh I love this… got two tiny lamps for our bedside tables but the on/off switch is very awkwardly placed on the power cord, which dangles behind the table. I wanted an easy toggle I could reach from the bed without reaching behind a piece of furniture.The puck is very slim profile. It would be better if it had a grippy silicone base - the base is a thin foam. But it’s very responsive. Single tap to turn on or off. Long press to change dimming.Works great and (with our LED bulbs) doesn’t flicker.Pay no attention to the reviews that complain the cable is thin. It doesn’t carry line-level current and it doesn’t need to. It only needs to power the capacitive touch puck, not the lamp itself, and it’s better if it’s thin so you can easily hide the cable away.

I love this dimmer! Most dimmers are visually intrusive-this dimmer is not. It’s small-about the size of a silver dollar (remember those?). I bought two and likely will order more in the future. It can be used with both tungsten and LED bulbs. There are several caveats to using this cutie such as do not use with a three way bulb. I’m betting it should not be used with an extension cord but the directions do NOT say that. The cord to the dimmer is very long which helps. This dimmer may be attractive to young children so do not allow them to play with it.

As many reviews across amazon have said, there is no quality control. These work as an on/off switch, but not as a dimmer. That's all I needed, so I will keep them. I will probably get something to keep them in place as they are extremely lightweight and easily slide off the table.
