Monster Diesel VEKTR On-Ear Headphones with Apple ControlTalk (Black)

These headphones provide a greatsound quality.Bass is of sensitive without becoming distorted on high volumes.I am yet to increase the volume entirely as i have had no need to. Even at the high volumes I have increased the headphones to, I am yet to experience any loss in sound quality. The quality at full volume is yet to be experienced.Trebles both high and low are of high quality and can be heard exquisitely through most of not all genres.My only concern of these headphones are it's comfortability. During short periods of time you find no issues, in fact they feel quite comfortable. However during long lesions of use they begin to feel quite tight and even uncomfortable. This may become even worse with someone who has a bigger head than myself, as I have a quite small head.

I bought these to replace a set of old Monster headphones that had broken. I use them for my work, audio typing. My old ones (the next model down) were good but these are fantastic. I had a focus group tape with 12 speakers and was struggling to pick out individual voices, particularly those with similar accents. I put these on and it was like I was sat round the table with them. For watching video content and music, they have great tone and sound too. As soon as I can afford it, I'm buying a back up pair!

Bought these as they looked like the perfect set of headphones. They looked amazing, nice design as I wanted a pair of 'different' headphones, than the typical beats, or skull candy. However apart from the design thats the only good thing about these headphones. They leak sound badly even in a quiet room and on the bus, no noise cancellation as I can hear my own footsteps and other things around me. Worst thing of all was after 15-20 minutes of listening to music, they started hurting my hears! Had to take them back. I REALLY wanted to like them, but just couldn't.

These were absolutely amazing heaphones. They came 6 days early and are such good quality. The look is so smart snd it has a very sleek design. It cancells the outside noise allowing you to comfortably listen to your music, even on a low volume. They have a sleek folding design and are very comfortable unlike many other headphones. The sound quality matches beats easily, mabye evn better from my experience of both headphones. The cable is very high quality. Got around £160 off and would even by it for origional RRP of around £200. Would recommend to anyone! I will surely buy from this company in the future.

These headphones are just perfect.....I needed to buy a new pair of headphones to replace my beats solo hd so a took a chance on these and I was very pleased...the beats solo hd are nothing in front of these. The build quality of the beats it very bad but these diesel headphones build quality is pure bliss...the sound is immaculate and the bass in perfect...it is better than the beats in all ways...I love these headphones, and I am happy I decided to buy them !! Just to add the sound quality is crystal clear!! The bass is perfect

Finally found a head set that I'm happy with . Gone through six never been happy not cheap either, but these are excellent . Once adjusted they sit nicely on ,great for the gym . The style Is awesome , excellent sound, nice bass not over the top great for listening to dance . Great product for the money and I'm on the fussy side when it comes to headphones

As a music grad I am meticulous about what headphones can give you.Ive used lots of top end brands yet these surpass all. Bass is superb treble doesn't start to cracked when the volume is up. Ive owned these for almost 2 years and they work perfectly still. Comfortable and the noise cancelling I'd superb.

Great looking, but if you're looking for best audio quality for the money, you have to look somewhere else. I got them on a sale and for the price of 50 pounds I can't say I regret buying them. Personally I'm a big fan of the design.

Great product

To be clear, I'm rating these based on the $72 lightning deal price, not the $300 retail. For the price I paid, these are the best closed headphones I own. Great clarity, bass, comfort, and sound isolation. Honestly, they've caused me to put my ath-m50's on the shelf for good. They're perfect for the wide variety of music I listen to. Substantial, but not overpowering bass, and a brighter, more energetic sound than the m50's. Great folding, compact portability, and sleek looks are a plus. Only con I can think of is that the shiny black finish does smudge easily, but that's not a deal breaker.

I bought these about 3 years ago. Here are my thoughts:First, they look amazing. Sexiest headphones I've ever seen.They sound incredible. The bass hits great as well.The cord is replaceable, which is good because I broke the included one pretty quick.Noise cancellation is great IMO. Can block out roommates, neighbors, vehicles no problem. But if you're on a propeller airplane and not blasting music, you'll probably still hear it.Comfort is the only area where this might falter a bit, at least relative to over-ears. I have no other on-ears to compare them to, but I can't imagine any other on-ears could be better.They've started falling apart recently, unfortunately. The overhead support snapped after years of hanging off the side of my desk (oops), and the cloth over the padding started tearing away at the seams maybe a year ago.Overall, an awesome product. Really bummed I have to replace them, especially since I got them on a deep sale ($80) and they're back up to $200.

This is an amazing find. I was a little skeptical by the geometrical lines but it's grown on me within a few hours. I love the look and it holds its own in a world dominated by "b" headphones which are half as decent as this is.The bass is neither overwhelming nor disappointing. It's just right. The recording studios know what they're doing when they're encoding the tracks and my thought is, this unit represents how the studio truly meant for the sound to be heard, every tone and not just the bass. I may just be a little bit emotionally moved right now listening to my headphones right now and typing this review - but it's proof that it's not just beats that can create emotions. This is a lovely piece of device.Some tips for those that find it uncomfortable, the on ear design is really meant to cover over your whole ear oval so make sure your lobes aren't exposed and neither the top of the ear. Once it's rested right on your ears you should be able to listen to it for hours.Please note, you are not supposed to have it on for more than 4 hours at a time @ 70% volume anyways so as with all things you enjoy, take breaks both for the outside of your ears and inside!I got it at a great deal and was looking up the post cyber Monday price and saw the 249.99 price tag. I honestly think, that even that price tag is well worth the money. Please do not drink the coolaid, stand out.One last thing, I feel that it's really made for men but I think a girl would look pretty badass in the military green and white colors.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, because my sister borrow my SOL Republic headphones and never take them back :(. So, after a few hours I have to say I am really impressed with the quality of this phones. I am not a sound expert but really like the overall performance from this product. The design is very "Dark Knight", bass are good, works really nice with my LG G3 and my Toshiba Laptop.Pros:-Doesn't feel easy to break, but be carefull anyways-Design-Details within the headphones-Removable cable-Soft case-Sound Quality-Noise cancelation, my boss ask me if their were battery powered, he can't believe they are not using batteries for noise cancelation.-Very confortable and can be used more time before they start to hurt your ears.Cons:- Based on the photos, I though there were far more big, but it's okay- iPhone only volume controls, but you can pause and restart a song/call with the center button on Android. I guess the same with Windows Phone.

Out of many of the pairs of headphones that I own, these sound the best. Better than the cheaply made Beats, better than my Bose, and better than my Sony X10's which I thought would be hard to match. I bought these headphones on a whim while they were on sale, and I was pleasantly surprised.BeautyThey come in a typical Monster box, beautiful and well presented. The headphones themselves are beautifully designed , while seeming sturdier than most headphones due to their metal interior frame. They really do catch peoples's eyes when you're wearing them ,but I have to state the importance of wiping them down with the cloth since they are fingerprint magnets.ComfortThese headphones are quite comfortable compared to 90% of most on ear headphones. The ear cup shape seems odd at first but, it really helps with comfort and seals out sound. I listen to music for about 7 or 8 hours a day while working and studying and sadly after about 4 hours your ears start to hurt from the compression, but taking a 20-30 minute break from wearing them can ease it slightly.Sound QualityMy music is very modern compared to most reviews I've read on here 95-now rap and new dubstep (80's rock and alternative rock every now and then). These headphones have outperformed many of the competitors in overall sound quality it has beautifully deep bass( deep but not overpowering), nice mids and crisp vocals. I actually can't think of a complaint I have on the sound quality

I picked these up on Black Friday for $80. I have to say, that's a great deal for these headphones. They sound great and are comfortable to wear. I've had them on all day, with no discomfort. I'm comparing these to my Beats Solo HD, which I like the sound/comfort, and my Beats MIXR which sound ok, but I find pretty uncomfortable. The VEKTR, at least to my ears, sounds better than both of the Beats.The cable for them is a triangle, and so is the volume/Adv/Back control thing. I actually have a hard time grabbing it and changing the volume because of the shape of the in line controls. When I try while I'm working, I usually end up pausing the music on accident. It may just be me, but its tough to feel what the right side of the triangle is to control the music.The only other thing is, one of my co workers said that I looked like I was wearing a transformer on my head. If that's your thing, then you probably won't have an issue with this. For me though, that's a bit of a negative.For the price, these sound great and are comfortable to wear. Not sure you're going to find a better deal at $80.

I bought these for about $70, and they are hands down the best headphones I have ever laid ears upon. To begin with the shipping was incredibly quick, I received mine about a week before the approximate arrival date. Then when I opened them, my eyes were instantly drawn to their crystalline design and glossy black finish. After I plugged these up, they played everything from Droptek to Johnny Cash flawlessly, the bass was there but not overpowering all the voices were brought forth the perfect amount as so you could hear the voices, but they weren't powering over the music.All in all, if you're looking for a pair of headphones that are perfect for nearly every music type, and aren't too heavy on your wallet, look no further

After being sorely disappointed by the Beats and their sub-par sound and physical construction, I decided to look for another pair of over-ears that not only looked great, but had a better sound quality. These VEKTR's are not only stunning, looking like an art piece with angular lines and a nice sleek color, but the sound is richer, especially if you like to listen to anything other than Hip-hop.K-pop, J-pop, Alternative, Country, Pop all sound great with these, and they do not distort the sound with needlessly heavy bass or lackluster craftsmanship. A great pair of headphones, all around. Be warned, however, that these are extremely delicate. One fall and they will crack like a wafer. These are not designed to withstand heavy shocks, so take care to not let them fall from great heights for any reason.

My son really likes these headphones. I tried them briefly and thought the sound was very good but my only comparison was a brief test of a pair of Sony headphones that cost about the same and I thought they sounded good too.My son tells me that other reviewers have commented that these headphones are for smaller heads and that's true. They fit him well but I think they'd be too small for larger teenagers and most adults. The ear pads are also small and fit more on the ear rather than over the ear.

I was a little nervous, but in the end very well worth it. I listen to a wide variety of music, but my mainstays are country and rap. I love the bass, and then the next song comes on, and sounds great and crisp. I used the controlTalk, and did very well. They heard me clearly, and didn't sound as if I was in a tin can or something else annoying.I have always wanted beats headphones because well a lot of people have them. I wore these for one day, and was getting compliments on them. They were very very well worth the buy. Now I am thinking abut another pair, but the Bluetooth version. GREAT BUY!

the sound of Diesel Vektr is awesome, the bass, sound quality and the noise division is just the way it was described, i cant get enough of the Diesel Vektr, if you are thinking of buying it go for it its worth it and if you are thinking of buying beats by dre you will regret it due to price and sound quality, beats by dre is over priced and hyped. i checked the comparison elsewhere and Diesel Vektr won the vs battle over beats by dre. if you dont use an iphone make sure you buy Monster diesel vektr headphone with a universal control talk, i use an iphone so i got this one with apple control talk and the apple control talk doesnt work with other devices its only the pause button that works but others works.

I honestly don't know what everyone's fuss is about, they say that the sound quality is ok.... It's AMAZING! I would say there better than my beat solos! The style is great as well super modern. They are very very comfortable as well, didn't annoy me at all after two hours of listing. The only thing is I bought these on prime for $70 when the actual price is $280, I would not say It's worth the whole $280 but personally I would still buy it for $150-$200. The last thing is whitch I almost forgot about....he packaging is epic, very accessible and clean

Solid construction, really edgy cool design. They sound good and on paper they should blow most other headphones away. When compared to my much cheaper Klipsch reference ONEs they are less impressive than I would have thought. I did buy them for a heavily discounted price of about $80 so in that rage they are defiantly worth it. They do feel like you have a geometric python on your head however. I cant go for more than an hour wearing them without having to give my ears and brain a rest from getting squeezed. All and All they are fantastic and well made.Pros- Look great Sound good Well madeCons- Tight Depth in sound
