Headset doesnt charge Edit: You just need a really high watt charger and it works

This is the perfect accessory for the Quest 3 with the Bobo S3 and I'll assume E3 straps. It charges the headset, controllers and a B100 battery pack. There are other reviews I read about this unit not charging the headset that made me nervous about buying it. Yes, you definitely have it get it positioned right, but it's not hard. when I place it on the charger, I tighten the strap all the way up (more for space than actual positioning) and pull the back of the strap down 3 clicks from horizontal and make sure it snaps into the dock. It always charges.

Such a disappointingly poorly designed product. It's nice if you want to be able to charge your controllers without taking the grips off, or if you want to charge a battery, but it's useless as far as charging the headset. It's extremely difficult to line it up properly, and on the rare occasions I've managed to, the power light immediately turns red and the headset's charge lamp goes off. Yes, I'm using a 45W charger, as instructed. It's really baffling to me how a company that generally makes nice Quest peripherals has made a charging dock that isn't even functional.

Now this is awesome, idk what the other reviews are saying but there is no Just right spot for me I put them on instantly they change BUT REMEMBER it is not 5 star becuase it don’t come with a brick to plug it in only a cord so it forces you to find one or buy one and it’s not a ordinary phone one or needs to be 15v to 3a or 9v to 3a I thankfully found one lying around but only one, remember before you buy that you need one of these bricks

The charging dock works with the charging cable and brick (charger) that come with the Meta Quest 3. The indication light is yellow (meaning slower charge) but it works. When I plugged in a recommended PD30 fast-charger the dock flashes red/yellow. Don’t know why, so I use the Meta Quest 3 charger on the dock, which doesn’t seem to charge any slower than the advertised rate for recharging the headset. I like being able to charge everything on the dock, including an extra battery, so I’ll give it 5 stars rather than 4, but it really deserves a 4.5 for not coming with a cable and brick matched to the dock. As an aside: I’m using the BOBOVR S3 Pro headband. That combination with the Meta Quest 3 seems to quickly lock into place on the dock and begin charging.

The remote chargers work fine. The headset charger doesnt work at all. It did at first but now it doesnt matter how I position the headset it will not charge. Also you can not have any type of face cover or nose bridge on it. Unfortunately I have not found a charging dock better yet. I just use it to charge my remotes and then plug in my headset with the original charger that came with it

This doesn’t deserve bad reviews. The one thing everyone is leaving bad reviews about is just user error: the magnetic connection works great. Love this thing.

I really wanted to like an all-in-one charging setup for my Meta Quest 3. And to be fair, part of it actually works really well. The controllers are great. You drop them in and they just charge, every time, no issues. That part feels polished and reliable. The problem is the headset. The headset does technically “click” into place on the dock, so at first you think it’s lined up properly—but even then, charging is really inconsistent. I’ve had plenty of times where it’s fully seated, looks correct, and just… doesn’t charge. That’s what makes it frustrating. It’s not like you’re just setting it down wrong—it feels like it should be working, but it isn’t. I still end up checking it, adjusting it, and second-guessing whether it’s actually making contact. Most of the time, it doesn’t work on the first try for me. I’ve had to nudge it around or reseat it multiple times, and even then it’s hit or miss. A few times I’ve come back expecting it to be charged and it just wasn’t. It gets worse if you’re using any aftermarket facial interface. With mine, the headset doesn’t sit quite right, which makes the already inconsistent connection even less reliable. At that point it’s basically trial and error every time you dock it. I’ve tried different positions and setups, but the pattern stays the same: controllers are solid, headset charging is unreliable. Also worth mentioning—it doesn’t come with a power brick, which feels a bit cheap for the price. At the end of the day, this feels like a great idea that just needed a better solution for charging the headset. When it works, it’s convenient. The problem is you can’t really trust it to work every time, and that kind of defeats the whole point of having a dock. If you just want something for the controllers, it’s great. But for the headset, it’s been pretty inconsistent for me.

Elle est stable même si l'on ajoute un support de casque. Inclus des batteries rechargeables pour les manettes (recharge sans fil). L'adaptateur murale 45W n'est pas inclus. Il faut l'acheter à part. Je recommande le Kiwi parce que ce n'est pas tous les adaptateurs qui sont compatible. Eviter ceux fait pour les cellulaires. Chercher explicitement ceux pour les accessoires quest 3.

Il mio scopo principale per l'acquisto di questo prodotto non è tanto la ricarica del visore, quanto un modo per ricaricare velocemente la batteria BoboVR D100 venduta insieme al set bobovr Halo strap S3 pro e soprattutto una ricarica wireless per i controller che funzionasse insieme al grip protettivo di sicurezza, pertanto ho accoppiato i Bobo strap grips compatibili D3. Dalle recensioni leggevo che la batteria inclusa fosse di scarsa manifattura, fatta con scotch e di voltaggio 1,2. Stentevo a crederci, ed infatti la prima cosa che ho verificato è stata la batteria dei controller. Come potete vedere dalle foto, è ben assemblata, il suo voltaggio è quello richiesto dal Quest cioè 1,5 V e non 1,2 come leggevo. Ho fatto una verifica con il tester e corrisponde con quel valore (una volta caricata, ovviamente, magari qualcuno avrà fatto una verifica appena arrivate senza controllare la carica). Per altri dettagli vi lascio le foto dove si possono evincere le caratteristiche, posso già dirvi che è una batteria litio dalla capacità non elevatissima di 800mAh ma sufficiente per una intera giornata ed oltre. D'altronde basta reinserirle nel loro alloggio magnetico per ricaricare. Va benissimo così. Altre recensioni dicevano che gli straps coprivano i led di segnalazione di ricarica... semplicemente no, basta ruotare l'impugnatura e posizionarli correttamente e riescono a sentire anche il magnete. L'unico difetto è che la base per caricare il visore non è dotata del magnete,.un errore di progettazione che rende macchinosa la carica del visore ma, chi compra questo base ed ha le batterie D100 sicuramente non andrà mai a scaricare il visore. Importante: giustamente, per motivi di sicurezza e corretta ricarica, se inserite il visore o la batteria D100 carichi oltre il 95%, queste non caricheranno e non si accenderà alcun led. È giusto così perché riconosce già una carica sufficiente ed evita il sovraccarico. Provate ad inserire tutto sotto il 95% se proprio volete verificare se lambase di ricarica funziona correttamente. Ci tenevo a specificare questi punti che mi ostentavano dall'acquisto.

No carga bien las gafas, tienes que moverla varias veces y doblarlas hasta que encuentra la posición y empieza a cargar. Te obliga a comprar los accesorios para mandos de la marca para que carguen también. Al final cumple pero no está bien rematada. Como no había otras opciones similares la tuve que coger

J’ai récemment acheté plusieurs produits BOBOVR : le casque S3 Pro, la base de rechargement pour le casque et les manettes, des batteries supplémentaires, la visière F3, ainsi que les protections de manettes compatibles avec la base de rechargement, et je suis totalement satisfait. Le S3 Pro est extrêmement confortable, même sur de longues sessions, avec une très bonne répartition du poids et des finitions de qualité. La base de recharge est vraiment pratique : tout est bien organisé, simple à poser et toujours prêt à l’emploi. Les batteries interchangeables offrent une excellente autonomie et se rechargent rapidement, un vrai plus pour la VR. La visière F3 améliore nettement le confort et l’immersion, et les protections de manettes sont robustes, bien ajustées et parfaitement compatibles avec la base de rechargement, ce qui est rare et très appréciable. On sent que BOBOVR pense à l’expérience utilisateur dans les moindres détails. Produits fiables, innovants et de grande qualité. Je recommande la marque sans hésiter.
