Expensive, but worth the price.
Was considering a lot of options, before purchasing this. The only real concern I had was reflections on the screen (there's a large patio door just to the side of the TV, with southern exposure). We had a 65" Sony Bravia which we loved, but it was a 2013 model. But now we've been watching this for a month, and it has totally surpassed all my expectations. As for reflections, complete non-issue. The glossy screen is absolutely beautiful. And the OLED is so bright, I had to turn down overall brightness (I'm running at 90% now, but may drop to 75%). We have it in a 20'x30' bedroom, and when there's a bright scene is literally lights up the whole room. Amazing effect (the Sony was bright, but not comparable to this). We just watched Ben-Hur and it was such a great experience. The super-wide format of Ben-Hur meant black bars top and bottom, so having 83" to work with made all the difference. I have a sound system, so I can't comment much on the built-in speakers, but when I have used them they sounded fine.I also don't use WebOS - we drive it mainly with Roku Ultra (which I also recommend) and a UBP-X800M2 (works great too). For some reason, even when watching content from YouTube, I see "Dolby Atmos" confirmation messages up in the top right corner, which I don't remember seeing on the Sony. I haven't researched who is doing this (Onkyo TX-RZ50, Roku Ultra or the G4), but it's nice to know it's active (worked great for the Thunder scene in Ben-Hur :).One more thing, the TV is very flat, and comes with a "low profile" wall mount. I used a heavy duty wall mount, because I have it hanging about 12" away from the wall, so I'm not taking advantage of the thin aspect, but I can see how it would be a very nice feature for most mounting situations.

AMAZING PICTURE
This is one amazing TV. Picture quality is top notch easy to use menus and even at 83" vs 75" Samsung draws much less power.

Good screen, crap everything else
1 star. Excellent tv, but if you lose the remote, it's useless. It wont boot to previous input, and has 4 buttons that are barely usable. Absurd i/o for a tv at this price. It's a good tv, but lg left a lot to be desired.

User interface clown show
UI is broken in nine different ways—especially via the app. This unit is a mountain of never ending frustration.Otherwise great picture.

Excellent TV, fast delivery, excellent packaging.
Best picture television I have ever owned. A lot of reviews claim OLED not as bright as other technologies, but I found it more than sufficient during the brightest parts of the day, and actually turned it down a bit. Internal sound comparable to most, but with the LG soundbar, a great multi-dimensional sound experience.
