I've got some friends coming over for the Christmas and have been getting some games in ready and this looked ideal.The game is a mystery type game where you need so solve a case. These are the types of games I love and have played similar ones on a computer before. The game is well made and I've had a good look and I'm excited to play it. However as it's best a single play game, I'll be waiting for Christmas day to properly play it as I don't want to spoil the ending. I'll update after Christmas with how I get on.

Maybe I'm an old curmudgeon, I don't know, but I would have been more than a little irritated to have purchased a game that does NOT say anywhere in the product listing that you need to have access to the internet and the ability to scan a QR code to proceed, only to find out that that's the case. I'm not against internet-enabled games per se, but they should be identified on the product information as such.

I am saving this for the Christmas season as I want to play it with friends but having had a closer look at it in thr meantime it looks well designed and that it will give us some entertainment at our get together. I like these types of games and it's great to have a game to play to interact with each other rather than just watching tv

I am so excited to try this over the Christmas holidays. This is packed full and after recently doing some similar murder mysterys, this definitely feels like the biggest and most full one I've received so far.I've not solved it yet as I plan on doing this over Christmas but had a brier look over it and it looks great. Functionality and playability look of good standard with a great character variety.

Good option to play over the Christmas period.Things to consider- better for adults and teenagers (recommended age 14+)- good number of documents, so good for group gatherings- does require internet, email to check your answer and access more hints- only really single play, but you can pass on to other family/friends, once solvedArrives sealed in plastic inside a large paper envelope (37*28cm), handy for keeping all the pieces together once played.

I got this for my husband and I to play over the forthcoming Christmas season so won't be able to do a full review until then, so will update. My first impressions are that it looks intriguing - it's popped through the letterbox in a large brown card envelope with "Do not detach this tape without authorization" so if course I detached it (rebel). Inside are various "top secret" folders and instructions on how to play. Note that it's interactive and involves using the internet and entering your email address. This looks right up our street and we're looking forward to playing it - will let you know how it goes.

I've played games like this before, including one by this creator, and I'm a big fan. Particularly of 'cold case' versions because you can really see how much love and attention to detail has been put into the planning and creation of the product.It wasn't a problem for us but there are some online elements involved in this game which if say camping etc might not work for you.Overall we really enjoyed trying to solve this case and managed to crack it in the end, it took us a while but we were making sure to enjoy every detail and really drill into every piece of evidence.

Really fun game to play at christmas. I love crime solving things like this.
