I have been buying Fiskars Easy Action Micro-tips for years since I tried my first pair. I've always liked them, but even more so in recent years as my hands have started developing arthritis. The spring action means you only exert half the effort it takes to open and close traditional lever-action scissors, and the lack of the otherwise necessary finger loops means no more sore fingers and thumbs if you have lots of cutting to perform.Depending on how often I use them and what I am using them to cut, they last a remarkably long time. However, I do use them quite often, and I like having several pairs in various craft kits I keep packed for specific crafts and classes. Despite their fine engineering and quality, they will wear out at some point, so I have had to replace them occasionally. That is what drew me to these was the titanium coating on the blades. I use titanium coated sewing needles and have concluded that they stay sharp longer than standard steel needles. Though I have bought the Easy Action Micro-tips at stores like Joann Fabrics and Michael's, I have not see the titanium blades available at those retailers.So far, I like these enough to have bought a couple of extra pairs; only time will tell if they last longer than the regular ones.

Sharp, well-balanced and easy to use for either right-handed or left-handed people, these scissors are a joy to use for big hands, too, unlike most conventional scissors. Well worth the extra cost for the design features, sturdiness and longevity (have used this model for years at work!), I highly recommend the Fiskars Easy Action Scissors.

Love the sharpness of the scissors and I can cut very small items. With the spring loaded handle it works great.

Very sharp and easy to use and grip with no pressure on fingers.. However, they are small and don’t work well to make an even cut on a large sheet of paper.

These are the best scissors! I bought several different kinds of snips to cut up double stacked aluminum cans for a craft project and these are the winners! Worth the money!

I took one star off for thr size. Not for small hands. I gave them to my husband and through very happy with them. I couldn't use them with my small hands. If your hands are small, get the padded ones. The padding takes up the extra space.They are strong enough to cut through 2 layers of very thick fleece.
