Excellent, well powder-coated can. It claims to be made of thicker steel than its competitors, and certainly is very sturdy. The coating is continued on the inside. This is important because fuels can contain water, and cans can rust from the inside; so it is good to know that this one is well-protected internally. The cap seal is very good. We have been having hot weather lately, and when opened, there is a loud hiss of escaping petrol vapour. This proves the seal is good, and capable of resisting some internal pressure. The nozzle fits well and seals tightly. Its small-diameter plastic extension spout gives me better control when pouring petrol into the small tank of my lawnmower. I think that fuel spillage will now be a thing of the past. I know it is not cheap, but I do think quality like this is worth paying for. Well done, Wheels and Bits!

These are SOLID really sturdy and good quality, the caps and spout fit securely and there is no evidence of vapour leaks

Manageable size and weight unlike the 20 litre can. You will need either a funnel or the specific nozzle which locks in place (recommended)The small clip that stops the cap from unlocking is OK but TBH probably unnecessary!Pour rate is good if into a funnel but a bit slow through the nozzle due to poor air flow (not a major issue unless you are racing!!!)Powder coating is nicely applied and I reckon the can will last for many years unlike the painted variants!Quality can for a decent and affordable price - wouldn't bother with the plastic containers for what this cost!

10L Red Metal Jerry Can with Screw On Flexi Spout.Have been looking for a fuel can that has a leakproof spout for a long time and I have found it at last !The screw on spout has a rubber seal in the threaded end that seals correctly to the can so no fuel leaks out when pouring. Despite the spout being metal with flexible segments, it doesn't leak and it has an integral air inlet so the fuel comes out nicely with minimal 'glugging'.The main screw on cap also has a rubber seal inside so it too seals nicely to the can when screwed on - and the cap has a magnet fitted to so you can 'stick' the cap to the metal can so you don't misplace it.The seals in the spout and the cap look good quality but are moulded in rather than removable, and therefore replaceable, O-rings so that may be an issue in the future if the seals cannot be replaced and the can has to be replaced.As the can is painted metal, I have stuck on 4 thick feet to try to protect the base from being scratched & damaged to hopefully stop the can from going rusty becuase of damaged paint.The paint is nicely applied although there are a few small weld spatters that weren't cleaned off before it was painted.There is a metal gauze filter built-in to the neck of the spout - it doesn't look removable so would need to be back flushed if it ever got clogged.The only slight downside with this fuel can is the capacity.It is stated as 10L capacity but when I had put 9.7L into it, the fuel was part way up the threaded inlet of the can. I didn't want to risk spilling petrol over the forecourt (especially at current prices of £1.87/L) by trying to get the full 10L into it as I reckon it would have overflowed before I reached the 10L.I somehow doubt the fuel pump was dispensing more than the display showed as that would be giving away free petrol, so I have to assume they have made the can slightly too small.Shame but not a big deal on what is otherwise I good fuel can.

I spent a long time and read a lot of reviews on fuel cans.Lets face it, the fuel in there may be stored for a while so needs to be uncontaminated when you need it.So a container that rusts on the inside was no good to me - tick this one by Wheels n' Bits with their fuel and rust proof inside coating.Also no good to me is one that leaks! This one has not leaked - another tick for this can!I read several reviews by people complaining that the locking pin was bent and hard to remove to open the lid. However, this is a deliberate design and all you do is ROTATE the locking pin and the friction lock loosens so you can pull the locking pin out enough to open the filler cap. If the locking pin was easy to move there is a chance, albeit a very small chance, that the pin could fall out of place the cap could then pop open. Its a clever and simple solution to avoid any potential risk of this occurring. So another tick in the box for the design of this can. The lid is secure!One very useful consideration I read from another reviewer was the size. These come in 10 and 20 litre sizes and it was pointed out that the larger can will be quite heavy when full of fuel. The smaller 10 litre can is a comfortable and manageable weight and is a good stable size (i.e. less likely to fall over in the back of a vehicle).Basically, a well designed and built fuel can that should do exactly what it's supposed to with no nasty surprises - can only hope that is the case but the signs are good!

Fantastic product. Became fed up with plastic cans and always wanted one like this. Very srurdy, good to have confidence in your equipment.One subtle thing, take note on the direction you're turning the locking pin and the affect it has on the cap. If you're turning the locking pin and the cap rises slightly you're turning it the wrong way

I actually bought this to hold engine oil, rather than petrol, but I might now buy another for petrol too. The can is really good quality - heavy duty, with a very sturdy double lid lock. I very much doubt it could ever come loose. Also nice to see an internal air inlet which presumably ensures smooth pouring, rather than "glugging" of the liquid. It didn't come with a spout, but I think I might have confused this with other models I was browsing, before I settled on this one.

Es un producto de muy buena calidad, muy fiables tuve un problema que no me vino con el vertidor de combustible pero nada respondieron en menos de un minuto y viene súper bien preparada imposible que se oxide por el interior por que viene pintada y pintura al horno estructura muy firmen y fuerte, estoy muy contento con la compra

Avevo provato un prodotto apparentemente simile che aveva prodotto ruggine all'interno.Questo invece ha una verniciatura interna che protegge dalla ruggine e quindi la benzina rimane pulita.
