Well made tool; safe for your hands too - you can tighten the screw and the blade will not move (that happens a lot with other designs, when cutting hard cardboard etc.). Can't beat the price.

The locking devise would probably be handy for heavier use but for quick, light use it's more of an inconvenience.

Works well and a good price. We use a lot of these knives in out business. The extra blades are a good bonus

I have this same knife. It was hanging around in my toolbox unused for quite awhile, while I was using my Olfa of the same design.When my Olfa FINALLY bit the dust, I was very sad and figured I'd have to spend the cash and buy a new Olfa to replace it. You see, it was the knob that finally cracked and broke. But it is the knob design that I liked about my old Olfa!)THEN I came across this red one that I had stashed away and started using it.It SEEMS, so far in the few months that I've been using it, to be the same quality as the Olfa.As Amazon flashed this knife before my eyes... in the magical (sneaky?) way that Amazon does (it reads minds!!!) I thought I would leave a review for it! :-)Original Olfa blades (which are a bit thicker than the knock-offs) fit this just fine, as you can see in my pic.Next time I need a new knife (when this one also, FINALLY dies) I know where to go!hmmm... maybe I should buy it now, just in case!??
