This past year I've been struggling with the odd cold sore. I tried zovirax first which came in a ridiculous pixi sized tube (2g) and it made very little difference to my cold sore. After a quick Google I saw this brand which had some really good reviews and I was pleased at the larger tube size of 5g not to mention that It was also cheaper despite being more than double the amount. I thought "why not give it a go?" I'm so glad that I did. I felt some immediate relief from the pain which was nicely unexpected. It started to work quite quickly on my cold sore and by day 2 had already shrunk and by day 3/4 it was all but gone. I would highly reccomend this product, it's worth every penny. I also discovered that not only did this help with my cold sore but it helped heal a patch of dry flaky skin on my chin. From now on I will only use and reccomend cymex for cold sores now.

I bought this product out of desperation as I normally buy the blistex one with the red cap. However, I think this creme has worked even better than my trusty failsafe! Which I didn't think were possible!First of all, the product arrived in less than 24 hours! (Hallelujah 🙌 I really needed it) and literally after the first application it soothed the area. So, to be a little more specific, sometimes I get cracks in the sides of my mouth and when it happens, they just don't seal up. They just get wetter and wetter and sore. This honestly got to work right away. I put it on, went shopping with a facemask on and when I took it off and looked at the area I was surprised to see it looked like the area was sealing back up!!! I've been applying it today (second day) just for comfort and it's honestly nearly totally healed. Amazing! Plus, it's cheaper than the blistex!!

I’ve suffered with coldsores since I was a child. Now in my 30’s they’re less frequent but I still get them. I’m one of the unlucky ones that does not get advanced warning, I feel no tingling before a cold sore magically appears. In the past I’ve tried all the ‘remedies’ out there, toothpaste, salt to dry them faster etc. Now I usually just lock myself away and let them run their course but I had a engagement coming up and needed it gone FAST. I purchased this cream based on good reviews. Is this a magical elixir that instantly gets rid of a coldsore? No. But from the first application it really helped the the symptoms like burning and throbbing. It’s been 5 days since my coldsore appeared and it’s at the scabbing stage already. I would definitely buy this product again

My lips were extremely dry and cracked, to the point I was in pain whenever I was smiling. Even when I was using natural products I was feeling itchy and in pain. Cold sore was at its beginning of getting worse. I ordered this cream, instead of Zovirax that I normally use, as I needed something that treats cracked lips too. I am amazed! My lips immediately were moisturised and pain disappeared! I am using it only for a day now and the results are amazing so far! Would definitely recommend it!

I was totally unprepared when I got the first tingling sensation on Christmas day. My choice of cream was determined by which I could receive first. It was also cheap with good reviews.So, fast delivery on the 28th but 2 days wasted and my cold sore was big and vicious by time the cream arrived.It's now the 3rd and the sore has almost healed. I think the result would be the same, whichever cream I used.I'm currently battling to prevent another outbreak, elsewhere. Still using the cream but I'm losing the battle. The sore is developing rapidly therefore it's thumbs down from me.

I unfortunately get coldsores a few times a year. I decided to give this a try over the Zovirax mostly because it’s cheaper.I caught my most recent cold sore a little late to see if this cream would have prevented it entirely but it has drastically reduced my healing time.My usual heal time for a cold sore is about 14 days or so at least and the cold sore would be large and unsightly. This cream cleared my cold sore up in five days and prevented it from getting larger.Definitely recommend. I always keep some of this now.
