Cuisinart CPS-022 Alfrescamore Pizza Spinners

These spinners do a great job of turning your pizza. Much easier than trying to use a pizza peel and you get the added benefit that they can pop crust bubbles. A pizza peel has its place for inserting and removing the pizza but these are great for managing the pizza while its actually cooking n the oven. Glad I bought them. Even if you have a pizza peel you should have these too.

We bought the Cuisinart pizza grill and after trying to turn the pizza with tongs, spatula etc we bought these. They have handles to hang when not in use, but they reach in and turn the pizza perfectly for even cooking. The end hooks are sharp so you can grasp the pizza easily to turn, or use the hook to puncture a really large puffy pocket in the crust.The spinners are 18 inches long so we can reach the pizza without being burned, and without having to lift the lid so no loss of heat in the oven.The grip is rubber, silicone might have been better but the grip is sturdy and comfortable.Nice sturdy construction and really great for any pizza oven.

Super innovative pizza spinner! I can't believe no one figured this out yet until recently.Instead of the awkward motions of scooping up the pizza with a peel then try to turn it, set it down, repeat, ... This spinner makes spinning pizza 100x easier! Amazing invention!So you use the peel to set your cold pizza into the oven. Let the crust develop a little. Then use the spinner to turn the pizza a quarter turn at a time. Hold the spinner one in each hand and use a Push-Pull technique to turn the pizza. Simple as that!!The spinner is long enough that your hands are far enough away from the heat (unless your pizza is like 2-3 feet inside a giant pizza oven). The spinner is light weight, stainless, and dish washer safe. Easy to store, takes up very little space in the drawer, or can be hung on a hook.Highly recommended for any pizza enthusiast! (for those who are baking pizza in such a way that turning is required.) If baking in a traditional over where heat is 360 degrees evenly distributed, turning a pizza is probably not needed.

Very handy to help turn the pizza in a very hot pizza oven or to pull it out of the oven. Be careful with the prongs as they are sharp. We use a couple of drink koozies to cover the prongs for storage since they did not come with covers.

These pizza hooks work well. You can turn the pizza quickly in the oven without having to take it out with a peel, or using a traditional pizza turner. You lose less heat that way and have good control using the two hooks. You just have to be sure to grab part of the crust that’s already cooked and not doughy, which is usually to the back of a wood fired oven for at least the first turn. Fortunately Thea hooks are long enough for that.

Solid and inexpensive for 2. I use one for pizza shifting and the other to lift my bbq grill grates when needed. No brainer for 2 for this price.

These make turning pizzas in our Ooni pizza oven so easy! Much easier to use than a peel, and the spinners allow for rotation of the pizza while maintaining contact with the pizza stone the whole time (resulting in a better cook for the bottom of the pizza.) No more accidently pushing the pizza to the back of the oven. These give you a lot of ability to turn the pizza with "finesse." A little expensive for what they are, but worth it (and much cheaper than a turning peel!)
