A really great book for anyone who suffers from anxiety
This book was written nicely and is an easy read. I enjoy reading the British slang in it as well. So much good information.

Loved it! So helpful!
I absolutely loved this book. I listened to it on audible first and felt I needed to purchase the real thing afterwards for all the exercises. I would recommend doing just that to anyone considering this book. Her voice is very relaxing, love her accent. She has so many great solutions for real anxieties. This book has really helped me to stress less and know that I can handle what's to come. Highly recommend and a bit shocked the reviews aren't all raves!

Loved it!
Loved this book. I felt so related to the stories of the author, also she has such a pleasent voice that makes this all the more enjoyable to listen to (got the audible). The advice is good, some not all that new, but it has the abilitie to get under your skin so you will get the ideas inside your head and heart for life. Great value for someone with anxiety like me

Aimed at VERY specific kind of person
I did actually quite enjoy elements of this book and there were parts that were quite thought provoking. Some of the activities at the back were nice and I appreciated the fact that references were provided to scientific research articles. I have no doubt that Chloe's work will appeal to some people. However, this book is very clearly marketed at a certain type of person. The book speaks only to women - the author refers frequently to 'we' women and 'our' particularly problems so if you're a man steer clear. It is also aimed seemingly in particular at (younger?) women who are anxious about things like what their Instagram pictures look like, what coffee to order in Starbucks, if they're going on too many dates on Tinder etc. I don't wish to minimise or belittle those kinds of worries or anxieties as everyone's experiences are relative but if these aren't your worries or your anxieties, you may struggle to engage with this book. One particular anecdote the author tells you about is her being brave enough to overcome her anxieties following a past skiing trip and go on a different snowboarding holiday (which is, let's face it, a luxury many people cannot dream of, let alone be anxious about) and this gives a flavour of the kind of person this book is marketed at. If this sounds like the kind of thing you are anxious about, then this is the right book for you and I've no doubt you will find it hugely useful! If not, you may want to look elsewhere for something a little more relatable...

Easy read, terrible editing and grammar
This book is very easy to read and is aimed at women which I like because men and women I feel are very different when it comes to mental health and how we deal/process events. However, the editing and grammar in this book is beyond terrible! Simple things like they have used a full stop when it should be a comer (example within the first few pages), not using a capital letter at the start of a new sentence, general misuse of nouns, adverb and phrasing.

An accessible and compassionate toolkit to manage anxiety.
"When you're anxious, you're also more likely to think about your dilemmas in black and white terms... This isn't rational and it can lead to your making poor decisions or prevent you from choosing things that could be great opportunities. Overthinking rarely leads to anything good. Creative insights don't arise from mind-numbing worry and over-analysing everything until it no longer makes sense."The author is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and former anxiety sufferer. She explains how elements of her childhood and decisions she made lead to her developing long-term anxiety. This, her debut book, explains her experiences, demonstrates key messages from other works written on the subject alongside warm encouragement and a practical toolkit. It is designed to take the pressure off and enable a different mindset.Chapters focus on common causes of anxiety, the purpose of anxiety, self-esteem, decision-making, exercise and food. The book's contents weren't all new to me, but suffering from anxiety only intermittently I found this to be found this to be a great starting point, a brilliant handbook pulling it all together in one place. I particularly like the toolkit at the end of the book. It feels like advice from a caring (and qualified) friend.

Like someone is reading my mind
Don't mind the stain on the book - it has been on an adventure with my coffee cup.First of, the lettering is perfect for me. The size, the font. Even the language, it reads very fluidly. I'm not a fan of small letters, since it will take forever for me to read.I am only half way through the book, but it feels like the person who wrote this, completely understand me, and is in my head. It's weird and yet fantastic at the same time. An amazing read. Cannot wait to finish this book. Definitely recommend this. Especially if you think you may be struggling with mental health. Or not. It is a great eye opener, and will guide you to the right direction. Recommended!

5 stars isn’t enough!
Amazing!!!As an Anxiety sufferer who has tried medication and counselling I never truly felt that anyone understood exactly what I was feeling... until I ordered this book!It has changed the way I look at life, and I wish I’d have found it sooner.Chloe is a brilliant author, who uses personal experience, research and humour to express the struggles an individual with anxiety faces and provides helpful mini tasks throughout the book to challenge the way you think about certain situations.I found this an easy and inspiring read, and anyone with anxiety who wants to attempt to re-wire their thoughts should buy this! :)
