Castles (Beginners)

This book has a great mix of photos of real castles, drawings of how castles worked, and text that is informative , but still just about readable for a six year old. Recommended

An excellent book aimed at the level of a 6 year old & ideal for using for the school project that we bought it for.

Lovely book intruding children to the purpose and reasoning behind castle features and how they evolved through history. My 7-8 year old liked it, they can read it themselves.

A beautifully illustrated informative book

my child is 4 y.o. and he loves castles. He liked this book and asked me to read it many times. I recommend it.

This book is so detailed and interesting, my little one enjoys it and so do I! Would work well for a wide range of ages, you can include more and more detail with level of comprehension and there are also cool illustrations and hidden pictures.

My four year old daughter was interested in castles and this book is at a perfect level for her. Nice illustrations, fun facts, but not too in depth. We recommend it!

If your son or grandson loves knights this is a fabulous addition. My grandson spent a lot of time looking at the pictures and reading the story. He is a very active young boy, but loves books about adventures he loves... and he loves Knights!! I bought this to go along with his Playmobile Knights and Castle.

We love all things Usborne. They are a great way to teach young children about their world both past and present. My boys LOVED this book. It is simple and engaging.
