At this price, it is certainly not a Kid's encyclopaedia (and I honestly worry for a child who is into warhammer). It could've used more detailed descriptions of equipment, in-depth breakdown of armor piece by piece and subfactions alongside detailed information on important characters. Not even Half a dozen primarchs are addressed properly. In short, it could use an upgrade in terms of artworks used. The breakdowns need to be deeper and the focus needs to be shifted from just the models into other branches of Warhammer 40k in modern media. Good book, but lacks details
The product itself is not bad, the quality is good - typical of DK books, but it could certainly use better artwork and updated models that are more in tune with the modern 40k lore. At this price, it is certainly not a Kid's encyclopaedia (and I honestly worry for a child who is into warhammer). A Must-Have for Warhammer 40K Fans - Old and New
Warhammer 40K: The Ultimate Guide is a delight. It seems accessible to die-hard fans of Warhammer 40K and those new to it. Right off the bat, the quality jumped out at me. The models and artwork were gorgeous—every page brought the Warhammer 40K universe to life with stunning visuals. It was easy to get lost in the details. What I loved was how accessible it felt, striking a great balance between being easy to skim for highlights and detailed enough to dive into the lore without feeling overwhelmed. I have played a few 40K video games and would love to get into the miniatures (but haven't yet) and this book was very helpful in providing more context for the factions I have encountered in the video games. The coverage of the different factions, even the minor ones, seemed thorough. The only downside I can think of is that I wish it had come out sooner when I was younger. But better late than never, right? For me, this book is a no-brainer, especially for the price (I paid $45). It's got everything I wanted: amazing visuals, tons of lore, and it was just plain fun to flip through. I highly recommend it! Hopefully DK releases more books like this for other gaming franchises.

Mooi boek maar slechte verzending
Boek zelf is erg mooi, maar door de verpakkingsmethode van Amazon (net 3 laags wc papier, zo dun is de doos) is het 3x niet gelukt om een onbeschadigde versie te ontvangen. Telkens zijn er hoeken flink beschadigd.

Fantastic hard cover book
Fantastic reference and informational guide in a high quality print hard cover. A great accessory to have for a Warhammer 40k fan.
