I used to live in Germany and used this all the time. Sehr gut! Perfect Bratwurst!!!

I am not really a fan of the Chilli and Peri Peri Sauces which crowd the UK supermarket shelves and stick to Lea and Perrins, HP and other Brown sauces to liven up my food - but when I lived in Germany this sauce in its various forms was on every supermarket shelf and in every "fast food" outlet. I had forgotten about it until I accidentally "found" it on Amazon recently and am delighted to find that it is just as good as I remember. It is expensive because it is imported, but it really is different enough to justify the expense if you want to try something very popular elsewhere but not easily available here. This version is mild, but there are hotter versions as well on Amazon and the large 800ml bottle will last you a long time, unless you have a lot of friends around for a BBQ who will demolish it pretty quickly once they taste it on burgers, sausages, hot dogs and vegiburgers.

At first use, following a good shake of the bottle, it bought back memories of German "Schnel Imbis" (small fast food outlets) we would frequent during our military postings. However as i progressed through the bottle with more use it got to be more spicier than i remember it, this was a little disappointing as i had bought a similar bottle from Birmingham's German market which remained the same consistency throughout its use. It will not deter me from purchasing more in future.

I cannot fault this product. It is good value and is sold in England from a shop in Windsor(maybe the Queen buys it?), so I didn't have to pay ridiculous postage for it.This is the only curry ketchup to buy if you like currywurst?

If you haven't tried this before, please do. It's very unique, and I had the pleasure of trying this out overseas and wanted some for home. Large container, which should offset the cost.
