Really excited to use this for our feral cat community this winter. In the past we would have to go change the water a couple times a day as it would become a big ice cube. Now we won't have to worry about it as much because this will keep things from freezing up. The water doesn't get so hot the animals won't drink it tho. Sticking your finger in the water after it's been running a bit, you can feel that the water is lukewarm. Of course, it's not really cold yet this year, so we'll see how it does in lower temps, but I predict this will still maintain the water so at least we're not making giant ice cubes all day and the cats will have enough to drink. It's a good size bowl so multiple cats can sit around it at once. I like that the wire has heavy duty plastic around it so it's not easy (nor desirable) to chew, and it provides some insulation as well. It doesn't make any noise either. This will make our days much easier.

Love the wide design makes it harder to tipOver. This bowl has a larger capacity than others I’ve bought! Seems to be made of nice durable plastic

This extra-large heated water bowl is perfect for my dogs. It keeps their water from freezing, even on really cold nights. The size means I don't have to refill it as often, which is convenient. The cord is adequately long, and it feels sturdy. So far, it's doing its job well.

I like to keep water outside for the stray animals that come around, and winter is always a struggle to keep the water from freezing. This heated water dish is perfect. It’s large and holds a lot of water. The cord it thick, chew resistant, and has a safety shut off feature.This heated pet dish keeps water warm without burning animals. It plugs into an outlet, and is a must have for winter time.

I haven't had a chance to test the heating function as it is still 95 degrees outside but seems to be built sturdy.
