I changed all the bulbs in my kitchen and living room. The light is bright and soft. Work great with the dimmer on the living room. My wife loves them! Great light bulbs! I hope they last as long as advertised.

We are slowly but surely phasing out the incandescent bulbs in our house with LED (light emitting diode) lights. This particular 9-watt (65-watt equivalent) LED bulb is advertised as 800 lumens and as can be seen from the photos, it is quite bright. The bulb has a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 80+. A CRI of 80+ means the bulb reproduces colors well but not as accurately as higher-CRI lights (such as 90+ or 100). For the most part, a CRI of 80+ is probably sufficient for bathrooms except possibly for the selection and application of makeup. Given this particular bulb is over our shower, this should not be a problem. While this bulb is dimmable, we just have a regular on-off switch for this bulb and the switch and bulb work well together.PROS• Bright (800 lumens), CRI 80+ LED bulb.• This bulb is dimmable.• Like equivalent LED bulbs, this bulb requires less energy that the incandescent bulb it replaced.CONS• This bulb has a CRI of 80+ which does not quite provide true daylight color.

These LED bulbs are a very bright alternative to traditional incandescent flood light bulbs. The color is bright white and depending on the exact setting, it may require a dimmer to tone the color down a bit. If you look at the attached picture, you will see this brighter white LED bulb on the left and an older incandescent flood light bulb with more of a yellowish hue on the right. I think the scale in the online description that shows the light emitted as "4000K Neutral White" is a bit understated. I would move that triangle to the middle of the scale since it's a brighter white with no yellow hue.I installed four of these bulbs in a family room, and oh my gosh, did it brighten the room up. I originally did not plan to install a dimmer switch, but just ordered one through Amazon to tone the brightness down a bit. I'll update this review after installing the dimmer switch to report back on the effectiveness of the lights with a dimmer control.Finally, it's important to note that these LEDs will operate much more efficiently than traditional incandescent flood light bulbs. In fact, these four bulbs are the last four that we converted throughout the home to save on electricity. It's also worth noting that these LEDs run cooler than traditional incandescent flood light bulbs - I can remove these bulbs with my bare hands after they have been operating vs the older bulbs that require that you turn the lights off and let them cool down or they will burn your hand.UPDATE: I installed a Lutron Maestro LED+ Dimmer Switch and these LED bulbs function perfectly. I have the dimmer switch set to the middle of the high/low range and the four bulbs emit a substantial amount of bright light in the room.

I recently swapped out my old flood lights for the 12 Pack BR30 LED Bulbs, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. These bulbs are a 65W equivalent, yet they only use 9W, making them energy-efficient while still providing plenty of brightness at 800 lumens. The 4000K neutral white light is perfect for my living room and kitchen, offering a bright but not too harsh illumination.I also love that they’re dimmable, which allows me to adjust the brightness depending on the mood or time of day. The E26 base fits perfectly in my existing fixtures, and the bulbs are easy to install.They provide a more modern, clean light compared to my previous incandescent bulbs, and the light is evenly distributed across the room, eliminating any dark spots. These LED bulbs have definitely upgraded the lighting in my home, and I highly recommend them!

My new passion, ummm hobby, is LED lights, especially dimmable one. They conserve energy and are inheriantly bright with no warmup time. No issues with these bulbs and the price point is great for a set of 12. I don't think you can get other bulbs for less, especially for the quality.Note for all bulbs: Look at the color scale rating (4000k is a more yellow color that a higher number which is more white.
