After making paellas for years in a 12” cast iron skillet on my electric flat top stove, this burner/pan brings my paellas to the next level. First, the assembly was simple and the parts/pan arrived in excellent condition. At this price, the build is acceptable, but I’d like it to bit a bit sturdier. The 18” pan is just big enough for this burner. The outside burner is right at the edge of the bottom of the pan. I ordered a 20” pan that should be just right.I made a seafood paella tonight with shrimp, calamari and scallops, with 3 cups of rice. 6 people stuffed themselves with a great inaugural dish. The enameled pan was surprisingly efficient throughout the cooking process and easy to clean.

Ok, so here is the lowdown. I'm fat, and I like my food. When I go camping, I have this massive 20 inch cast iron skillet that I cook everything in called "El Gigante". The only down side is that it is so massive, it takes a very long time to heat up, and in the morning, you have to build a fire from scratch and then heat the skillet up, which then makes you even hungrier. With that said, I started searching for a burner where I could use the skillet on the fire, or heat it up on the burner. All the burner's I found were high pressure burners that had massive Btu outputs. After some more searching I found this beauty. It's amazing. Even though I do not use it for it's intended purpose of making Paella, it is definitely worth the money. Using this baby, and my massive skillet, I can cook my bacon, eggs, and biscuits (On a cast iron trivet in the skillet covered so it soaks up the flavor of the cooking bacon) all at the same time.

We have used it once so far for paella and it was great. Also used it for stir fry and again was great. Only negative was the assembly instructions which were a little weak. All in all a fun paella pan which we will use often especially when the weather gets better.

The wheels axis that came with mine is too large, not like in the picture but much longer, about 6 inches longer than the distance between the legs. This doesn’t really affect the way it works but only its aesthetics. Its sturdy and looks good, would look better with a proper fitting wheels axis though. I’ve used it a few times already and works well, as expected. The paella that came with it is definitely not for 14 people, i’d say it’s probably for 10 people max.

It's comical that there is a quality control approved sticker on the box because upon opening the box, so many of the pieces already had scratches and chipped paint that you wouldn't think it was brand new. The paint is not a good quality and comes off so easily- there were tons of red paint chips all over the floor after assembly, which may I add, was not as easy as it should have been due to the poor "instructions" provided. The burner knobs were also crooked, but they still work thankfully. If I didn't need this burner within the next couple of days, I would have returned it and bought a different one. I definitely don't think this burner is worth what it costs!

Works like a charm, pretty powerful flame so be careful dialing it in, a little difficult to see the flame in daylight, mine is the two ring burner, there's a one ring burner and a three ring burner available, IMHO the two ring is more than enough, I've already cooked two paellas in it enough to feed about 12 to 14 people, and to top it off it comes with the paella pan, you just need to buy the connecting hose and a propane tank and you're in business, highly recommended

Assembly wasn't difficult once I stared at the picture of the complete unit. Instructions are minimal, but once completed it is reasonably sturdy and works like a charm. I used to make paella over two burners on my stove, turning the pan every twenty seconds or so until done. No longer an issue...This unit makes cooking paella a pleasure.

Too hard for one to put together! It’s seems that the pan could slip off the stand/flame easily. Hang on with a hot pad with one hand when stirring!!

Le brûleur ne correspond pas aux standards français. Diamètre trop petit et pas d’adaptateur fournit . Je vais donc le renvoyer. C'était pour faire un cadeau mais je ne sais pas si je vais pouvoir en retrouver un dans les temps . A fuir

Bon matériel reçu dans les temps et bien emballé. Par contre l'utilisation en extérieur est plutôt compliqué la moindre petite brise éteint les flammes.. j'ai terminé ma paella à l'intérieur !

This is a great item and works so well for outdoor creating, the paella was really good and I used the pan to cook lots of chicken legs. To clean, just remember to add water and heat the pan to help lift the burnt on stuff.My only negative is the need to adjust the levels when you are using the burner on grass. Do it before you start your cooking as it's tricky once things are on the go.
