I have used this for years as EMS. I am trying it now as TENS for arthritis pain relief. Tried it twice and it seems to help. I remain optimistic.

Have bought this brand twice before but a different unit and I was very satisfied, got this one thinking that it was the same but a newer model, is not, is a smaller unit, don't recommend it for big hands, not friendly use at first, is not made to last, it will come apart if you drop it a couple of times, mine is on it's last leg, can't afford to purchase another one at this time, so I have to deal with the missing pieces to make it work. Would not buy this particular model again. The battery recharges fast and last a good amount of time, easy to carry with you, but easy to drop it as well. The impulses are not strong enough to relax the muscles or relieve pain for me.

Wow! This device is powerful! My husband suffers with chronic back pain and he is definitely getting relief from this little device. I tried it myself when my neck and shoulders were stiff after driving on a long trip, and I couldn't believe how well it works. The intensity is more than enough as we barely use even half of it's capacity. Battery life is impressive - we have been using it daily since we received it 4 days ago, and it still has plenty of charge. The display and controls are easy to understand and operate. Device is very small and lightweight and can be used while up and about with the controller in your pocket. The diagrams that are included with the unit are very helpful in figuring out where to place the leads and for what kind of pain you are having. The sticky pads stick very well and can be used over and over as long as you keep them clean and store them on the plastic holder that is included in the package. Although you can use all four leads at a time, there is only one plastic holder that will hold two leads, so we have only been using two at a time as I am unsure how to store the other two sticky pads to keep them from getting dirty. I wish I would have known about this device years ago. Best fifty bucks I ever spent.

This is my second Healthmate . The first lasted many years and I damaged it accidentally or it would still be going. This is easy to use with everything included, charging wire, electrodes and 2 wire sets. Plenty of power and long battery life. An easy 5 star product eval.
