This rack is fairly easy to put together even though the instructions were just pictures. The metal is strong enough for this use and the threads on the bolts weren't the best but worked overall. This is a great rack that will keep your kayaks easily accessible & off the ground. You can weed eat around it nicely as the feet are rubber and can be elevated to level or raise it. I'd suggest putting them on pieces of wood or bricks to help from sinking if you're putting this outside. It's also great for in your garage to keep everything nice and tidy.

We've tried several storage solutions for our kayaks. We've used wall hangers as well as ceiling mounted options. Although those worked fine, we simply needed to free up space in our garage. This is an excellent alternative, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality. The 2 tier version I received adequately shelves a few larger kayaks, one of which weighs in at around 85 pounds. The included straps attach and secure the boats easily. It keeps them off the ground and easily accessible.

This is quite a heavy stand, as it needs to be to support my kayaks. I advise putting this together near where the kayaks will be housed, as it is a bit of an issue for one person to move the assembled rack. This is going to be my outdoor storage system, as I don’t have room now for two kayaks indoors. I did purchase a couple of kayak bags, so that they stay clean of dirt, bugs and other creatures while stored outside. I am happy with this product.

this kayak rack is very sturdy, pretty heavy box when it arrived. took a bit to put together but it was simple enough. it holds my two kayaks nicely and i'll see how it fares outside over the winter, needed the space in my garage but can't keep the kayaks on the ground directly.
