Ko-katana
I am very pleased with the value and quality, for the price I paid. This Ko-katana is well-balanced (about 3.75" from the Tsuba) and good looking. There's no standard Habaki present, but the Tsuba feels seated solid enough - no initial wobbles or rattle. That Tsuba seems built a little better than it looks, and it is smooth, like a well-worn belt buckle. The depiction appears to be an old man that is pouring something out.. But I can't tell if he's feeding those birds he's watching, or watering a plant, or pouring out his toss-pot.. Kind of have to answer that for yourself, I guess..Weight is a significant heft of 2lb, 7oz, which is about mid-weight for a full-length katana. The blade is 21.6" long, sharpened, 5mm thick and 1.75" from spine to edge (at the widest point). There is nearly zero distal taper, which puts some heft towards the tip. The blade shape does favor slash over a stab. The Sori angle isn't significant enough to measure.Overall length of my Ko-katana is 32.5"The Tsuka handle is katana length, at just over 10.6" long. None of the Tsuka hardware attracts a magnet, but few made today do. The Kochira pommel is that "kittycat," like what's on the LSWYBJ ($50) katana (another very lightweight, affordable and decent katana). This Ko-katana is actually almost 5 ounces heavier than my LSWYBJ katana. There's only one single Mekugi peg, if that is an important or critical feature for you.The Samegowa appears artificial (which is fine by me) and the Ito wrap is not loose or sloppy - but it ain't going nowhere after a good, tight wrap of hockey stick tape. That kittycat pommel isn't tied on to the Tsuka with the Ito wrapping. It can be bumped off, but it could be re-glued. The tightness of the Ito wrap isn't effected by this oddness. I wrapped mine back on with a crown of hockey stick tape (followed by another full-length wrap. This does give me some pause, but it hasn't moved at all since then. The Tsuka is slightly more than 3/4 tang - it draws a magnet out until the last 2.5 inches of handle. The sheath (calling it a scabbard or a Saya seems generous) appears to be put together about as well as most inexpensive sheaths made today - it's not quite as impressive as something crafted by a saddle maker, or professional leather crafter, but it weighs nearly nothing and it does the job. The belt loop is duty-belt sized at 3.5 inches, but I have repurposed a spare nylon Cold Steel machete sheath for that task. There are a few larger Wakizashi options available on the market, and some might even qualify for the title of O-wakizashi, but the weight and size of this Ko-katana make it too large for any type of typical Wakizashi designation.. Even "O-wakizashi" seems to be an inadequate term.Maybe "O-wakizashi XL..?!"This sword could easily hold a placement between the heavier 31" wakizashi design and the typical 40" (industry standard) katana.I have not noticed a lot of Ko-katana sized swords on the market. This one is interesting, and it was priced right - I like mine. And I look forward to reading what other reviewers have to say about this interesting and uncommon size of sword.Packaging was quite adequate with 5 U-shaped pieces of Styrofoam, plus the flat end pieces that protect the katana from staples. The blade had its own plastic sleeve inside of the carrying sheath, and the whole set was wrapped in another sleeve of plastic, held by the Styrofoam, inside the box.Keep the blade wet with Corrosion-X and it should stay pretty.

Worth it for the money .
Holy crap this thing is impressive for the money! $40 ish . I’ve used it as a beater and a machete basically , and it’s been great and chops very well on limbs up to 2” thick with no spine warps and only slight edge rolls or chips , Only con would be maybe a little better edge heat treat hardness , I’ve noticed some small chips or rolls on the edge , but nothing major or that can’t be fixed with a stone or a decent sharpener , I also wish it was a double Mekugi peg design and it’s not all the way full tang more like 1/2 to 3/4 the length of the handle . This is a great cutter for the money and I’ve been happy with it and I’m honestly gonna buy another since the price dropped again , while the Tsuba is kinda goofy and the lack of a habaki is odd . Over all for a cutter and or machete i give it like a 8/10

Decent Sword Hanger
This is a decent sword, it feels like a 30in even tough they mention 32.6in. It has good weight to it, however it is not full tang so the support comes down to 1 peg to hold the blade tight together. Keep in mind that it is a nice sword and not too sharp but still. The seller does not have any reviews so I thought I should go ahead and send one for customers. You will like this blade, so give it a shot.

Budget Katana Machete
Really a nice sword for the price paid! No regrets. It whips through the air well making a nice sound. It was packed very well. I love the sharp blade for a middle-age man to cosplay! I used Rem Oil Pro3 which a thick oil to lightly coat the blade. This will be one that will need to be oiled or greased often to prevent rust. I would recommend this sword for an inexpensive introduction to Japanese sword reproductions (from China). This medium length size is great for indoor cosplay and fantasy. Only one peg holds the handle on instead of two which is the only downside. I like the leather sheath. This would be good for outdoor machete use. Highly recommended.

That this is no freakin toy or wall hanger it’s battle ready
The media could not be loaded. That whenever these are done meaning they will only exist if you have one! They will be able to purchase one but the ticket will be high probably the 500$ range ! Because they are that bad ass and don’t know what the comments are saying it’s a half or 3/4 tang but looks like it’s a full through the blade tang

A Rare Jewel. I'm Impressed.
Aside from having a leather sheath instead of a traditional scabbard, I can't find anything wrong with this sword. It's very well made, the fittings are solid, the wrapping is tight, this is a gorgeous sword. And for the price, you can't go wrong.
